Ullswater Holiday Park

The beautiful lake Ullswater is only about 2 km away from the campsite. There you have great bathing opportunities and can simply unwind. The site itself is located in the middle of the idyllic Lake District and offers you a wonderful view of the surrounding hills.

The choice is yours! There are 160 pitches for holidaymakers, of which 40 are parcelled. If you prefer to travel without your own tent or caravan, there are 18 cosy rentals available, all of which are equipped with their own bathroom. This way you can enjoy full comfort in the middle of nature.

A 3.3-hectare, elongated meadow area awaits you, which is partly flat and partly sloping. A few tall trees provide shade, and the pitches are spread over several areas. Since the terrain is partially sloping, you should pack levelling ramps for your motorhome or caravan just to be safe.

The exact prices depend on your travel dates and the chosen pitch category. Here are the most important cost factors you should keep in mind:

• Dogs (your four-legged friends are very welcome here, a small fee may apply)
• Rentals (prices vary depending on equipment) Since the site is currently not bookable online directly via PiNCAMP, it is best to ask the operator directly for current prices. An ADAC Campcard is currently not listed as a discount.

Arriving by car with a caravan or motorhome is straightforward, as the campsite is easily accessible in Watermillock near Penrith. Since the pitches are on a meadow, we recommend packing sturdy pegs for your awning. You have access to 10-amp electricity connections at the pitches.

For small cravings or forgotten items, there is a practical kiosk directly on the campsite. If you are planning a larger shopping trip or want to go out for a nice meal, the nearest town centre of Penrith is only about 4.4 km away. There you will find supermarkets and restaurants.
