Überland Vlotho

An outstanding family campsite that truly offers everything for families. In addition to a pump track, a wonderfully designed playground, and a mini-golf course, there is an aqua park that really has something for the entire family. Furthermore, there is a fantastic Beach Bar where one can relax with friends, enjoying cool beverages. There is also a dog run with an adjacent dog beach. Currently, this campsite is undergoing renovations, but you hardly notice the construction work, and I believe that after the renovations, the site will have great potential to become a TOP family campsite.

We stayed with our large family tent on the unpartitioned camping field. There is little shade, but we are right by the water. The ground is rocky, and much construction is still underway. The construction noise disturbed us in the mornings near the camping area. The sanitary building is not yet finished near the camping area, and one has to walk a little to the next one. However, a small mobile toilet for two persons has been placed in the field. The restaurant and bistro are closed, I haven't found the shop yet, but there is a snack vending machine. BUT: otherwise, it is really great, and I believe when everything is finished, it will be MEGA! The lake with the sandy beach is shallow, and there is shade there. There are go-karts, mini-golf, the kids can ride bikes, e-scooters are allowed, mini-golf is free, the people are nice, a great play area with a washing machine, new sanitary facilities. The beach bar is open until 10 PM. Bread service is available.

Great campsite, a lovely playground for children, mini-golf, a dog area with swimming access, restaurant, swimming lake, and much more.

Old, loud, unfriendly, the guest must pay or have no claims. Staff overworked. Wherever you stand and walk, guests are monitored and reprimanded. Cyclists and scooter riders are constantly checked and reprimanded for speeding. Control mania has broken out.

Unfriendly staff, overworked and understaffed. Management supports permanent campers in denouncing other campers and visitors. Frequent creation of false warnings and reprimands. Old sanitary facilities. Noisy. Holidays and leisure time look different there. Hospitality is a foreign word there!

Once upon a time, there was such a beautiful and quiet place. But now, after the takeover by Überland, it's just bad and very loud. In nice weather, it's totally overcrowded, there's now an aquapark where there is nothing but screaming all day. It closes at 6 PM, but this neither interests the children who still go there nor the operators who do nothing. In other places, they do not clean up so the lake is totally overgrown with algae - disgusting! For us, the lake is history - what a pity. Oh, and the new Italian at the square, you can forget about him too!!!

Good location, unfriendly and inflexible reception, outdated and dirty sanitary facilities.

Considering the ongoing construction work, there was really nothing to criticize. Keep it up *****. Just on the side, I would like to mention regarding other reviews: You are treated there just as you behave!!!
