...once upon a time... - New operators - little empathy - shame

Old, loud, unfriendly, the guest must pay or have no claims. Staff overworked. Wherever you stand and walk, guests are monitored and reprimanded. Cyclists and scooter riders are constantly checked and reprimanded for speeding. Control mania has broken out.

Unfriendly, poor management, loud, construction site…

Unfriendly staff, overworked and understaffed. Management supports permanent campers in denouncing other campers and visitors. Frequent creation of false warnings and reprimands. Old sanitary facilities. Noisy. Holidays and leisure time look different there. Hospitality is a foreign word there!

Please avoid this lake - it is no longer what it once was.

Once upon a time, there was such a beautiful and quiet place. But now, after the takeover by Überland, it's just bad and very loud. In nice weather, it's totally overcrowded, there's now an aquapark where there is nothing but screaming all day. It closes at 6 PM, but this neither interests the children who still go there nor the operators who do nothing. In other places, they do not clean up so the lake is totally overgrown with algae - disgusting! For us, the lake is history - what a pity. Oh, and the new Italian at the square, you can forget about him too!!!

Under the new management, a campsite that can be classified as absolutely recommendable.

Considering the ongoing construction work, there was really nothing to criticize. Keep it up *****. Just on the side, I would like to mention regarding other reviews: You are treated there just as you behave!!!

Very unfriendly to the youth

Familie mit 2 Kindern
Since Wolfgang took over, the youth have been bullied endlessly. It's clear that teenagers will meet somewhere in the corners of the campground because there isn't a place for them to let off steam or at least a youth center where they could retreat. The Feuer family is against the youth, but if you think about it, the older campers are dying out, and if no young people come because the Feuer family is driving them all away. Perhaps the family should have opened a senior home instead, where it's quiet and not a campground. They obviously have their favorites there, and if someone doesn’t fit their expectations, they're terminated without giving a specific reason. And that's really sad. It's clear that when a parcel is terminated, the whole group next door also leaves because for many years it's been like a family; that's why they're looking for a new campsite. So I want to say that many have written that a lot has been done and renovated, like the toilets being painted and a new roof, but aside from that, nothing else has changed. The toilets look awful everywhere, and the showers don't work properly. But they raise the fees every year, so our spot alone costs 1300 just for 7 months, plus waste disposal, water, electricity for the registered persons on the parcel, trailer spot, dock, so you can't be under 2000 for 7 months, and then there's also the winter storage where you’ll be paying another 300 euros, so it's expensive fun. It's clear that the people who only come on weekends can't judge it all, they don't know the family and how they operate. Teenagers (ages 13-19) are not welcome.

I was at the Karmann meeting at the square, not just this year but also in the years before. I know the square well and am now excited to see how the new operator performs.
