The place is beautifully laid out. Definitely book a lake view. Everything is clean and tidy. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. Everything is great, we are definitely not there for the last time!!!

The campsite is very nicely terraced, the washhouse below the reception is new and very clean, everything around the reception and arrival was top-notch. There are beautiful details, such as well-kept plantings. In the back part, there are mainly permanent camping spots. From the campsite, you can use many different hiking and cycling paths without having to drive.

Our children had a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the weather didn't really cooperate.

We were guests for a week. We liked it, the new showerhouse is great. The only downside is the path down to the water and across the road, which is not so great. Also, the beach at the water is small and can be very crowded in good weather, especially on weekends.

The campsite is great and laid out in a terraced manner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Quietness at night is ensured even with full occupancy. The cleanliness in the ladies' toilets and showers, however, was, in my opinion, not appropriate for a **** star site. The bread roll service was well received by us. Unfortunately, due to the location, not much can be done in bad weather, but in good weather, wonderful hiking is possible.

This campsite has everything your heart desires and is especially wonderfully located. Due to the terraced arrangement of the pitches, almost every plot has a wonderful view. The staff on site is exceptionally friendly, and the sanitary facilities are very well maintained and kept spotlessly clean. The permanent pitches are great, all are kept quite open and there is a strong emphasis on maintaining good conditions. You won't find any "shabby huts" anywhere on the entire area! In the small shop next to the reception, you can find everything you need at fair prices. The nearest shopping opportunity is not within walking distance (about 8km away), so the store's offerings are very helpful ;-). It is important to note that the campsite is overall hilly (it's right in the middle of the Sauerland), so don't be surprised that you will also have to deal with elevation changes within the premises ;-). Great animation program for kids, superb play and football fields, and even a tennis court perfectly round off the comfort and leisure offerings next to the lake.

Friendly service, clean toilet facility (though somewhat "difficult" to reach for us over eighty-year-olds), nice little kiosk next to the reception with roll service) and the best part: the wonderful view of the reservoir. However, it was far too distant for bathing in the lake. We saw bathers from above.
