Campotel

Beautiful place with many small play areas for children. The bathing lake was closed during our visit, but it's quite nice. All in all, a great opportunity to enjoy a weekend or a short week of camping. The sanitary facilities have seen better days, but they are fine and everything is okay. All in all, a lovely spot.

Great swimming pond and playground

We like to go to the Campotel. We feel well taken care of. We usually stay on the parking space that is in front of the campsite. We think it's great that the buildings of the old hospital are being used so wonderfully. We'll be back soon.

Very good campsite with an adjacent motorhome pitch. Very clean sanitary facilities, alongside many permanent campers, many well-maintained tourist pitches, swimming pond, plenty of children's activities in the summer. The restaurant is reportedly suffering from staff shortages but still offers a fair amount, plus you can go to the nearby village. Unfortunately, the sauna was closed due to staff shortages - a shame. We will come back anyway!

We were at the campsite with our motorhome! All in all, a super great camping site! Very clean sanitary facilities! Very tasty rolls from the self-service shop! There is nothing to complain about! The price is also completely justified!

In terms of amenities, it's actually a good place. However, it might need to be modernized and, above all, tidied up. Some areas really did not look inviting.

Overall a great place with good transport connections. The pitches are nice and level and completely fine. Very delicious rolls. Everything was very reachable from our pitch 365. Water and electricity at the site. However, the water splashed in all directions. Filling a bottle without getting wet - difficult. Bad Rothenfelde is very easy to reach. By bike, it takes less than 5 minutes. However, the place is really a spa town. The shops, cafés, etc., are very specialized in that. My daughter and I booked the site exclusively because of the kids' animation. Unfortunately, this was not available during the autumn holidays. Although the website states that this is offered during the holidays. Also, the kids' club and youth room were closed. Gym, squash, table tennis, ... everything available, but some parts are really old. The table tennis table was broken, the game 'Mensch-ärgere-Dich-nicht' was still from the DM times. The gymnastics hall was okay and free. The course for the e-quads was in poor condition. I’m not sure if they could still be rented. The sanitary building always smelled good of freshly washed laundry. It was hanging in the laundry room. Attention: No plugs available for the washbasins. Showers and toilets were completely fine, even if just functional. My daughter found it so boring there that we left 3 days earlier.

We have been there regularly for the last 10 years; the offer of the site as well as the associated motorhome parking area have convinced us. The proximity to the village is another plus.
