A wonderful, fairly large site directly by the water and next to the Torghatten (the mountain with the hole). Many lovely pitches with fantastic views. Modern and clean sanitary facilities. Additional sanitary container (currently closed on 26.8.26, presumably for the high season). The reception staff (currently open from 18:00 to 20:00) are very friendly. Quite reasonably priced (350 NOK/night with electricity + showers). Natural swimming area with a small sandy beach, also suitable for smaller children (only full at high tide). Sometimes the Hurtigruten pass right by the site (a few hundred meters away). Starting point for walks/hikes to the hole of Torghatten, for circling around the Torghatten (flat, about 7 km) or for the summit ascent (the last one is moderately challenging with good stability and fitness; in the last section, it is partially exposed and has many places secured with steel ropes).
