A place with a unique atmosphere. The walled garden, transformed into a campsite in 1814, is surrounded by the historic garden wall. Owner Jim has personally managed his place for 24 years... you can tell (in a positive way), nothing here has aged, everything is well-maintained (camping gas empty), there is a friendly answer to every question, walks around the garden and the adjacent manor house including explanations of the history. In the evening, there was a spontaneous whiskey tasting - we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
