In no way does it deserve its stars.. it is known that toilet paper is disposed of separately in Greece. But the feeling is that you are standing in ... It should be cleaned more often. Food, well. The beach and water are great.

Friendly reception, site inspection with E-Car, relatively small pitches in the first row occupied by rental caravans, but view of the sea and bay possible from the second row. Super coarse sandy beach. Sanitary facilities old but clean, showers lukewarm. Large supermarket with acceptable prices. Restaurant closed. Pool area and pool bar open. Pitch with Pincamp card and electricity 22€.

Please note: we ultimately did not stay. But upon arrival and viewing the site, we were treated so unfriendly - this has never happened to me in Greece! So the site may be great, but it plays a big role for me whether the people are friendly as well. Luckily, there are plenty of alternatives...

Camping site order is enforced with absolute arbitrariness. You must always arrange yourself parallel to the street. However, the sites are far too small for motor homes. Extremely high curbs to the sites. Whatever purpose they serve other than damaging cars or motor homes is beyond me. Apart from one half-functioning washing machine, everything else is "out of order" or rusted! For such a large site, that's outrageous. Here, loud music is played. BBQs with large flames, and that with the current forest fire danger!!! All sorts of electrical devices are plugged in. Apparently, no one cares. Sanitary facilities are old and partially dirty. We probably have to bite the bullet just like Johann and pay 50% for almost 2 weeks and arrive early :-(

Hello everyone, we (2 adults and 2 children aged 2.5) changed campsites after two days. The sanitary facilities and the equipment are quite old and it shows that no investments have been made since they were acquired. The site is quite large and noisy, even at night. Anyone who occasionally needs to work online is stuck. There's no cellular network with Telekom (hotspot not possible), Wi-Fi is only available at the booths and shops, and it's very slow, with no seating outside of the cafés and in the Wi-Fi area. When we addressed the situation at the information desk, we were dismissed with the statement that "it's just a campsite." Our neighbor was actually scolded by the staff because she reported a power outage to him. We were so disappointed with this site that after 2 nights we decided to pay the pain compensation of 50% of the total costs (booking time, in our case 10 days) and look for another site. For your information, we are on a round trip and have already been to numerous campsites in Slovenia, Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria. Ironically, all of them had better quality and friendlier staff. We were actually surprised by the conditions, as the website shows something different.

the campsite is located at a very beautiful, otherwise undeveloped coarse sand bay, framed by rocks and overlooking Mount Athos - it can't get more beautiful than this. no rented umbrellas or loungers. the water was mostly crystal clear, but on one day it was relatively heavily mixed with debris (foils, paper, etc.) - wind/current? the nice neighboring village of Kalamitsi can only be reached on foot with difficulty via the road. the campsite itself is huge and offers various parking and accommodation options from fixed tents (first row) to caravans (second row) to terrace-like mobile home streets in the back part. in between, plenty of more or less shady spots. professional, somewhat impersonal reception, clean sanitary facilities. minimarket with a very large selection, very good and nice tavern, and a small staffed beach bar (where loungers/umbrellas can also be rented). additionally, there is a fast-food stand with pizza, gyros, fries, and another bar on the campsite. overall, everything is very nice, but during the peak season, with the many spots, it will surely get very crowded.

With its location by the sea and direct access to the beach, Thalatta Kalamitsi Village Camp promises sun-drenched holidays in Greece for families and beach holidaymakers. Surrounded by forests and mountain slopes, the resort is a paradise for active travellers who want to discover nature. The Greek specialities in the restaurants - from grilled octopus and feta cheese to chocolate-filled pastries - also guarantee culinary delights.
The Thalatta Kalamitsi Village Camp is hidden away in a secluded bay, surrounded by wooded hills and the blue sea. The campsite is located in the very south of the Sithonia peninsula in the Halkidiki region. From the campsite you can enjoy the view of the mighty Mount Athos. Camping travellers park their caravans on level ground and mostly under shady trees. Most of the 500 parcelled-out pitches are located in the premium area in front of the turquoise-blue water or in the sparse forest that begins just above the shore. The pitches measure between 60 and 100 square metres and have access to electricity distribution points. A total of seven sanitary complexes, attractively designed with light-coloured tiles, offer well-maintained toilets and hot showers. Public kitchens are also available for communal cooking. Guests love the quiet location and the relaxed atmosphere. Whether sipping fruity cocktails in the sun, sweating it out with the other campers in fitness classes or shaking a leg to Latin American dances: At Thalatta Kalamitsi Village Camp, everyone will find something to suit their taste and make their stay unforgettable. The swimming pool promises relaxation and the little ones can splash around in the children's pool. At the heart of the holiday complex there is not only a playground surrounded by greenery, but also various dining options, a supermarket and a gym.
It's not just the campsite itself that never gets boring, the surrounding area also has all kinds of things to see and do. On the beaches around the Thalatta Kalamitsi Village Camp, you can enjoy various water sports such as canoeing or windsurfing. Expeditions with the campsite's professional diving school are a particularly fascinating experience. The rocky marine world is characterised by caves, tunnels and sometimes gentle currents. Active holidaymakers can also hire bikes and go on an individual tour or join a guided tour. From the holiday village, a circular route of around 30 km leads along coastal roads, gravel tracks and forest paths to the villages of Porto Koufo, Toroni and Sikia. Mountain lovers can pick up a hiking map at reception and follow picturesque routes through the surrounding mountains.
