We are here for the second time in a row now. We like it very much. The large toilets/shower buildings are cleaned every afternoon. The showers and toilets are perfectly fine. Great Camping in the Dunes
The paths from the rear sites to the reception with parking or to the supermarket in De Koog are quite far, but camping in the middle of the dunes compensates for it.

My Favorite Place
For 50 years, I've been drawn back here time and again. No pool, no indoor swimming pool, cumbersome utilities, and yet it’s my favorite spot. Anyone who has been here knows what I mean and what makes this very special and unique atmosphere of the place and the island.

Campsite by the sea in a friendly atmosphere
Camping Kogerstrand welcomes its guests close to the seaside resort of De Koog. It is located in the Texel Dunes National Park and is therefore perfect for nature lovers. The campsite offers free WLAN throughout the site. Directly in front of the campsite is a kilometre-long, fine sandy beach by the sea, perfect for swimming and building sandcastles. The extensive site has a total of 757 parcelled pitches and a separate area for campers with pets.
The site offers plenty of personal freedom thanks to its many niche pitches in the dunes, which offer maximum privacy. Hedge roses and shrubs also provide protection from the wind. The pitches cater for every need - from private dune pitches to XXL pitches for large vehicles. The campsite facilities include several heated sanitary buildings and a restaurant. Younger guests can look forward to an air trampoline, a recreation room and playgrounds. The bike hire is perfect for those who like to discover their surroundings on their own. Campers also benefit from a launderette, a service station for motorhomes and a safe.
