We were there for the first time. One very positive point is that there is no lunch break and you are allowed to arrive from 11 o'clock. You are warmly welcomed and driven to your spot by a site manager in a Caddy, who also shows you all the facilities on the campsite and explains everything, whether it’s about waste disposal, the pool, or cash payments for rolls and the restaurant… etc. The site manager is also available during the day for any issues. The campsite has a beautiful playground, which is great if you’re traveling with children, and the pool is also recommended. The campsite is well-maintained and features a fantastic sanitary building with spacious cabins. The restaurant serves delicious pizzas and schnitzels. We would love to come back.

The reception at the campsite was excellent! The reception was staffed by very friendly people! We also liked the site, especially the washroom and the nice man at the kiosk. What stood out negatively was the completely overcrowded pool with hundreds of children shooting in all directions with water guns and jumping in unexpectedly, which made it stressful for the parents and dangerous for the smaller children. Where were their parents? Under the fruit trees, there were hundreds of aggressive wasps. We found this extremely unpleasant, especially since I was stung on the neck in the dark late at night, but for us, it was just a stopover, so it was okay. Fruit trees are not ideally placed next to the pitches; it would be better to plant other trees for shade and keep the fruit trees at the edges. In conclusion: for one night, it was fine for us.

Exciting !! Great bungalow !! Nice weather at a wonderful campsite. Super restaurant !! The owner was very friendly and helpful. Fast staff, short waiting times when ordering. Perhaps signs on the tables for self-service in the afternoon. The groundskeeper, a very pleasant, cool guy, helpful and friendly. The receptionist, very friendly, helpful with problems, quickly found solutions. The owner of the campsite, as always the best, wants only the best for the guests. In summary Super staff Great place, good food Clean restroom facilities We will come back and recommend you. Helga & Karl Gabi & Markus

The fact that we have been coming to this campsite for many years speaks for itself. The staff is friendly, especially Monika at the reception, who is incredibly nice. She always finds a little spot, even when the site is busy. The sanitary facilities are top-notch and clean. There are occasionally some little pigs around, but that's not the campsite's fault. Unfortunately, the kitchen is often left dirty. A sign asking to leave the dishes clean would be appropriate, as no one wants to wash their dishes in a dirty place. Other than that, it was an overall lovely stay.

4.5-star campsite with outdoor pool and play area
Camping Schlossberg Itter is located in the middle of the sunny Brixental Valley and not far from the romantic village of Itter. Deciduous and coniferous trees provide shade at many of the pitches on the terraced meadow area, which covers several hectares. Pet owners are happy to take their dogs with them on holiday to Tyrol. For those seeking peace and quiet, the campsite has a sauna hut with a Finnish sauna, an infrared cabin and a Turkish steam bath. The campsite is also popular for its catering facilities: fresh bread rolls are available from the small kiosk, while a rustic restaurant serves Tyrolean delicacies and international cuisine.
Water lovers will feel in their element at Camping Schlossberg Itter thanks to the large, solar-heated outdoor pool. There is also a separate paddling pool with a fun slide for the youngest visitors. Younger guests can also look forward to a fun entertainment programme during the holidays: The programme ranges from baking bread together and barbecues to sporting competitions and creative workshops.
