The location of the campsite is top-notch! 2 train stations and a bus stop are reachable in 3-4 minutes on foot! Staff are very helpful and friendly!

We were greeted very warmly. The staff is very helpful. The location of the spot is absolutely perfect. Although located right next to the road, you feel embedded in nature. In front and behind the spot, there is a train station and a bus stop. Directly from the spot, walks and hikes can be undertaken in all directions. The technical facilities (washing area, sanitary) are a bit older. However, they are in top condition, always very clean, and work flawlessly - hence tiptop!! The spot is located on one side directly on the (heavily trafficked) road. This can be disturbing. Remedy: If possible, choose a spot by the river. There is a small kiosk where you can buy the bare necessities (drinks, dairy products, bread can be ordered).

The communication could be improved. Most of it goes through an automated system, but there is a bit of a lack of live communication. On Friday before the arrival, it became clear that I had to give up the stay due to family circumstances. 1. In my attempt to report by phone, the phone was not answered this Friday. 2. On the same Friday, I sent an email. 3. On Saturday, I called again. I spoke to an employee and told him the situation and that the spot could be released. The employee said he would note the case. 4. Then I still received an email from the automated system for check-out; I do not understand that. What happened to my reports? It has been 4 days since I spoke to the employee and 5 days since I sent the email; Otherwise, I hope to still enjoy the campsite in the future.

Great spot as a starting point for many activities. Hiking, walking, and cycling trails start right at the site. It’s a "hop, skip, and a jump" to public transport, bus and train, as well as the valley station of Muottas Muragl. The proximity to public transport is top-notch. We, as a retired couple, really appreciated that. What you need to know is that the site is located on a fairly busy road. We could still sleep well. I used earplugs, my husband did not. The site manager was very helpful. You feel well taken care of. Simple yet very clean sanitary facilities.
