What campers are saying
Summarized by AI
The campsite scores with its fantastic location right on the beautiful sandy beach of Lake Murten. Campers particularly appreciate the very friendly, helpful staff and the generously sized pitches. Good to know for the trip: Anyone heading here should be prepared for somewhat older sanitary facilities.

Mediocre Campsite with Potential

The good thing was that we were allowed to arrive earlier (at 10:00 AM); the downside was that we couldn't extend until 6:00 PM, for instance, even though many spots were still available; the average sanitary building needs to be rebuilt - the renovation was unfortunately far from sufficient. At Lake Murten, it would be nice to have a raft for swimming and more showers by the lake.

We spent an extended weekend at the TCS camping site. The staff was very friendly and the facility was clean. My dog and I felt very comfortable. The sanitary facilities were clean, although they were a bit outdated, but that's not a problem. We definitely recommend this place and will come back.

What a disappointment: 1st and last time

It was the first time at this campsite and I certainly had the worst possible spot next to the sanitation facilities. A campsite advertised as quiet at night but not at all. People do not respect the hours and do the dishes or shower loudly from 6 AM to 11:30 PM. Not to mention some inappropriate behaviors. No control from the staff regarding site occupancy even when tents are set up on access paths (even after reporting, there was no reaction). And let's not talk about the little shop, which is ridiculous with staff that are not always friendly. No parking available close to the entrance, so when several people arrive at the same time (check-in), it’s chaos. In short, a great disappointment. The only positive point is the nearby beach.

Very nice beach nearby with plenty of shade. For our children, a great campsite with entertainment, water play, and playground. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Sanitary facilities are not the best, but the operators seem to take good care of the facilities from our perspective.

Beautiful camping, great beach, few showers, sanitary facilities are outdated. Quiet hours only after 11:59 PM! Rather noisy campsite in the evenings, dogs urinating and defecating everywhere...
