TCS Camping Martigny is located in the border region with France and Italy, not far from the motorway on the outskirts of Martigny. Martigny is considered the cultural capital of the canton of Valais. The Romans left their mark on this ancient town with its Mediterranean flair. Also worth seeing is the medieval bishop's castle of La Bâtiaz, which offers marvellous views over the Rhone plain above the town. Other attractions include Martigny's outstanding museums, including the vintage car museum and the Musée Gallo-Romain with its fascinating archaeological finds. There are beautiful cycling and hiking routes around the campsite. For motorcyclists, the campsite is the ideal starting point for tours on spectacular Alpine passes such as the Great St Bernard and the Col de la Forclaz towards Chamonix on Mont Blanc.
