You can expect an idyllic, partly flat and partly gently sloping grassy area, which is pleasantly structured by rows of trees and hedges. Some of the 75 pitches are concreted or gravelled for a stable stand. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the surrounding hilly landscape.

The site offers solid basic equipment with toilets, dishwashing sinks and a tumble dryer. Especially practical: there is an accessible sanitary cabin for guests with reduced mobility and wheelchair users. A great plus point for your arrival is that German is spoken at reception.

The campsite is wonderfully quiet in a rural setting at around 260 metres above sea level. As the grassy terrain is partly gently sloping, levelling ramps are sometimes useful. If you want to explore the area without a car, there is a public transport stop just 100 metres from the site.

As prices vary depending on the season, it is best to enter your travel dates directly to check the latest daily rates. You should plan for the following cost factors:

• Pitch fee for your caravan or motorhome
• Electricity connection (16-amp sockets available)
• Possible fees for using Wi-Fi (partially available on site) An ADAC Campcard is currently not offered on this site.

Since some pitches are gravelled or concreted, you should definitely bring sturdy hard-ground pegs for your awning. For the power supply at the pitches, you will need a suitable CEE cable to make optimal use of the 16-amp sockets.

For small appetites or forgotten items, the operators have a cosy kiosk directly on site. It is best to do your main shopping in nearby Tavistock or in Moorshop. Although the site does not have its own restaurant, the rural surroundings offer great local pubs.
