We were here for 10 days, our pitch was large and shady and fortunately in a quieter corner, apart from the big street by the campsite, which you can hear constantly, especially when vehicles use the long street as an acceleration test. The sanitary building we had was new, which is nice. Cleanliness is just okay. Fortunately, the whole bathroom isn't closed off and sprayed down for cleaning, but cleaned in a 'normal' way, which is very pleasant. However, what is broken stays broken, e.g. 2 out of 11 toilet paper holders, 2 out of 2 urinals, 2 out of 2 broken hooks in the wash cabins or 4 out of 10 defective showers. The old sanitary buildings are small and absolutely outdated. There is at least one machine for emptying chemical toilets, which I happened to see, but it was broken. Otherwise, the emptying cabin was clean.

We (dad and two boys aged 8 and 6) were at the campsite for 10 days over Pentecost. I can recommend the campsite 100%. It is very family-friendly and the pools offer a lot of variety for the children. The little train to the beach is also really nicely done. The beach was very clean and suitable for children. The daytime animation (Mini Club) as well as the evening events were always a highlight for my boys. I can only praise the food offerings as well. Overall, it was a very nice stay in Tahiti.

Well.... We definitely won't be coming back

August 2023

We were there for 3 weeks in the summer of '23, having already reserved a 90 - 100 square meter pitch for winter. Upon registration, the entire price for the stay is paid upfront. Initially, we were assigned a pitch that was only 50-60 square meters, but this was changed after we complained. So far, so good. Regarding the stay: The Pools: have aged, the tiles are coming off, the poorly sealed joints stick to bathingsuits and leave unsightly white-gray stripes that cannot be removed if one has sat at the edge of the pool. The children's pool (the advertised highlight) was murky and milky. Only 2 sun loungers per family, which becomes interesting at the latest from 2 children, but even this limited number is far from enough in high season. The thermal spa costs 15 euros per adult for 2 hours; children are not allowed entry. The Beach: is reachable by a small train that runs every half hour, but like almost everywhere, one must consider the 2-hour break in service, otherwise, you have to walk. The train driver was by far the nicest member of the entire team. Dogs: are allowed throughout the site, which I originally thought was great (being a dog owner myself), but after regularly finding dogs relieving themselves on trees and bushes, larger deposits lying in front of our caravan in the morning (dogs were partly running free), and a family member even being bitten, I changed my mind. Toilets: have been newly renovated and are nonetheless defective. Showers from which no water came for days, the lights turned on too late in the evening, therefore, showering in semi-darkness. Removed electric hand dryers, cables hanging insecurely, even for smaller children, from the wall... The Pitches: are shady, but when the large, shade-giving trees drip on the caravan and car in August (as is the case with lime trees), then after the holiday, machine polishing of the car and scrubbing with abrasive cleaner from the caravan is required. The stuff is very difficult to remove. WLAN: not available, there is the possibility to buy 2 hours of WLAN for 3 or 5 euros (? not entirely sure). The Restaurant: at the site was very good and staff was friendly. The Animation: in the evening was well-intentioned and very eager, but there is at least as much room for improvement. A not(!) free arcade is also present, some pool balls are missing, at least the white one would have been nice... In the Surroundings: there is unfortunately not much noteworthy. The town itself is unkempt, ugly funfair stalls at the other end of the town, the cozy restaurants are overcrowded in high season, while the rather unkempt ones are not. So our summer vacation was a flop. If we hadn’t been required to pay the full price upon arrival (they know why), we would certainly have left the site early! Too bad, but the stars are unfortunately no longer deserved. Everything looks very nice; upon closer inspection, we felt taken advantage of.

Nice campsite, few opportunities…

Very good8

Niko

May 2023

Hello, we were at the campsite about the last 2 weeks and had a motorhome including a awning on a gold pitch. The following things were very positive: -The campsite has everything you need, in good condition. -The pool facilities are nice and also clean. -The supermarket offers a large variety. -The dog area is very large and equipped with good equipment. The negative things: -Unfortunately, there is absolutely nothing in the surroundings! Without another vehicle, you are completely stranded. -You can book "tours" and "excursions" at the reception, however, there is no way to reach these (except for one) without a taxi or another vehicle (the targeted excursion was about 70km away). -There are only limited shopping opportunities outside the campsite. -The beach loungers are very expensive. -The food at the restaurants could be better and significantly cheaper. All in all, for a max of 7 days, great… for a longer vacation, I would also go elsewhere.

Nice and clean campsite A clear recommendation from us!

April 2023

We had a pitch with our own toilet and kitchen, which was really practical. The pitch was spacious and of a reasonable size. The supermarket was also reasonably priced, everything was perfect for a small morning shopping for breakfast. The pools were very nice, although not all had water yet, which was due to the season! Mosquitoes come in the evenings due to nature, it's definitely necessary to have insect spray with you. All in all, a very nice campsite and highly recommended, we would come back!
