Sunset Camping & Restaurant

Unfortunately, it appears that little effort is being made for maintenance or improvement. There are broken beach loungers, plastic, and pieces of iron scattered across the grounds. An old camper covered with a plastic tarp can be found on-site. On the road leading to the campsite, there was a dead dog, and it remained there upon our departure. The owners did nothing about it. The access road is in a hopeless state. At times, the sea looks dirty. The sandy beach is nice, but there is no shade. There are many mosquitoes. The restaurant has no atmosphere: it's a large, bare room with no character. The food was decent. The campsite lacks lighting, making a flashlight essential. The sanitary facilities are old and not clean, with an unpleasant odor. The location and opportunities of this campsite are promising. With more maintenance and investment, it could be a much more attractive place. We also checked out the nearby Camping Pa Emer, which is set in a more rural area and has more shade.

Access is via a track about 2 km long, with deep potholes. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but clean. The staff is very friendly.

Great location, a place to relax!

Thanks to the reservation, we got a wonderful spot in the front row with an unobstructed view of the sea and a great sunset. The operators are very friendly and helpful. The food is tasty, but the portions are rather small. The sanitary facilities are okay and operated with filtered well water, no drinking water! The access road at the time was still very bumpy with many potholes. It will be repaired as soon as the weather stabilizes.

The ADAC card was not accepted. We couldn't refill drinking water as the water was very contaminated. It was very yellowish and had a strong smell of lime and iron. The sanitary facilities were super dirty and rundown. The restaurant is also not recommended at all. The only plus point: the great view of the sea and the direct access to the beach.

Very nice, new place. Right by the sea. Very friendly and helpful owner. Speaks perfect English! Restaurant very good and sanitary facilities new. Water and electricity available at the site. Kitesurfing possible right at the beach!
