Great place! Lovingly, practically and nature-friendly designed! Very nice, uncomplicated people. The washhouse is great, usable completely without coins, dishwashing areas are covered. For campers, there's a small kitchen. Super! Super value for money! For us, one of the best places on Rügen! Thank you! Those looking for entertainment are not in the right place.

Nice campsite, clean, good WiFi, spots are well distributed, small playground. Owners are very nice and help with questions. Unfortunately, shopping options on the site are very limited. Bread rolls are available from 8-10 am, otherwise only 2 small snack machines. Shopping options again only in Stralsund.

We were there for a week at Easter. We enjoyed it, the sanitary facilities were fine and clean. There is a park adjacent to the campsite, where a climbing facility was installed. Behind that, it leads to the beach with a dog beach. The price performance is right.

Good value for money. Unfortunately, there was no indication of DCC membership during the telephone booking. In the restaurant next door and at the harbor, only cash payments are possible. There is 1 ATM at the harbor that charges exorbitant fees. This does not lead to satisfied and returning holidaymakers.

My wife and our 15-month-old son were here with a caravan and awning for almost a week. We were received with the warmest welcome and felt immediately at home despite the long journey. The most important information was provided in detail on the information sheet. There are not only sufficient but also very clean sanitary facilities available, and the mix of day guests with bikes and tents, permanent campers, and holidaymakers is really great. The site is beautifully located directly by the climbing forest, a restaurant, and behind it, the completely renovated beach. Here, both sand and lounging areas have been newly made, there is a playground, and next to a bar, there is also the obligatory snack/ice cream stand. There is also a playground directly on the site, while there could certainly be a bit more for the little ones. At the site itself, which is very elongated and therefore not crowded and noisy, but very private and pleasantly quiet, besides the rolls/buns, you can also get smoked fish. Electricity and showers are included. There are several decentralized garbage and washing-up places and shower houses, so we never had to wait. We took up about 8x7 m² and there was still space for the neighbor. We would be very happy to be guests here again to explore the island and the Hanseatic city.

The campsite has a top location on Rügen. The sanitary facilities are clean and well-maintained. There are opportunities to wash everywhere. The layout of the campsite is clear, so you can find your way around quickly. Unfortunately, the registration desk is not open for very long. However, there was a note posted with a phone number to register by phone. The staff was very friendly. There is unfortunately one star deduction, as you could no longer shop at the small grocery store or bakery in the off-season, and the bakery in the village is also closed on Sundays.

The Sund-Camp Altefähr is a simple but clean campsite. The reception by the operators was extremely friendly and helpful. Supply and disposal were okay. There is a wooden shelter with a sink, a fresh water tap, and grey water disposal located quite centrally on the site. The disposal for the chemical toilet and the inlet for grey water (motorhomes) is located right next to the reception and sanitary building and is easily accessible with a motorhome. The sanitary facilities are functional and top-cleaned. There's really nothing to complain about. There are 4 shower cubicles each for ladies and gentlemen, and enough sinks and toilet cubicles. On the site, there is a "kiosk" with small everyday necessities and fresh rolls every morning. A little forest path leads to a Greek restaurant, for example. Absolutely recommended! Also, the small harbor of Altefähr is just a few meters away. There are various options to eat and drink there (fish stall, ice café, another restaurant,...). Not to forget the passenger ferry that crosses the Strelasund to Stralsund two to three times a day and of course back again. Otherwise, you can easily explore the island of Rügen by car. For example, it takes about 35-40 minutes by car to get to Sassnitz. Since the campsite is located directly in the first town of the island of Rügen, namely in the south just behind the Rügen bridge or the Rügen dam, exploring the surrounding mainland is also no problem. Even Rostock can be reached in about 1 hour by car for a day trip. We would love to come back!
