We couldn't find anything negative. All in all, a very nice and well-maintained place.

No idea why the campsite has 5 stars. Yes, there is a new washroom and a few nice pitches, but not for everyone. A 5-star pitch is only available for a small part of the campers. Our washroom was always dirty, very old, and absolutely nothing to do with 5 stars. Everything looks very dated. The place is only for those who are themselves crazy about dogs. Anyone who can't handle dogs should steer clear of the place. Campers with and without dogs are completely mixed together. The path from the playground to the ‘beach’ constantly stinks of dog waste. The barking is always audible. A family on our street always let their dog go to the bushes by the campsite. The next ones who got the pitch had small children. The crawling area was then exactly where the dog always went.

With 5 stars, you unfortunately expect more… we had almost no wifi during our vacation and therefore couldn’t work from the laptop… furthermore, the spots are sometimes very small and close together, and the paths to the washrooms are very far away… in rain, the spots were also quite muddy… 3 stars yes… 5 stars rather no.

A super 5* - DOG - campsite. Considering the fact that DOGS do their business even on foreign plots, this is a disgusting imposition for non-dog-owners. The operators do not follow up on complaints regarding irresponsible dog owners (see Leeuwenpost Camping Regulations Pt. 11 and particularly Pt. 22). The leaflet with the behavioral rules for dog owners merely serves as a fig leaf, i.e., the established rules are not monitored in any way. For these reasons, it is far from a 5* campsite. Therefore, the ADAC rating as 'Superplatz' is no longer comprehensible or justified.

Partially beautiful places, clean sanitary area, beautiful streets, very nice staff. For a 5-star campsite, I find it inappropriate that nothing is offered for children, teenagers, and adults. No programs, no entertainment. Internet/WiFi is very, very poor. What is increasingly annoying are the extremely many dogs (we have a dog ourselves), but the barking and yapping is irritating. Due to the mentioned points, we will probably not return. It would be nice if the operator takes to heart the increasing negative points and addresses and improves these issues.

The campsite is very beautiful and offers many opportunities for a lovely and relaxing holiday. Nothing is missing. The lake is pleasantly warm and super clean. You can SUP, paddle, or swim. Or explore the beautiful area by bike. The prices are reasonable, although not super cheap. For such a large and great place, it is fair. You can take the bus to Salzburg for free every week. Or just do nothing and enjoy the peace. We have been there several times and always enjoyed it very much. We will come back.

The location by the lake is very beautiful. Large area with plot sizes from 80 to 200 m2, so also suitable for large motorhomes. Very clean and spacious sanitary facilities. Staff very friendly and professional. On-site there are 2 restaurants and a small supermarket. We were here at the end of October and it was already sparsely populated and very quiet. However, if the occupancy is full, it will surely be very loud and bustling here. The distance to the town of Waging with its many good local restaurants is easily reachable on foot.

We were actually satisfied. Unfortunately, the lime content causes many problems for the faucets, meaning: they are sometimes difficult to operate and do not always shine where they should. The lighting in the new washrooms is partially a disaster. Incompetent lighting designers were at work there.
