Good for seniors, windsurfers, kitesurfers, and dog owners. Clean and well organized. In the high season, there is definitely a lot going on. Cyclists discover an el Dorado of paths around and by Lake Neusiedl. Podersdorf by the lake is an ugly village!

Great place, something for everyone.

For 6 years, we have been coming regularly - as a couple with a camper - to this place. The infrastructure is ideal, large washrooms with many toilets, sinks, and showers. Each shower has a small ante-room for storing clothes and towels. Booking is possible by phone, email contact, or also on the website with direct site selection. Check-in is quick and always friendly. Usually, we stand in the 2nd row and are only 20 meters from the water. With the bicycle, you are well equipped and can reach any destination on the site, in the town, and also in the surroundings. Not only Podersdorf itself but the entire region is absolutely ideal for water sports enthusiasts and cyclists. Directly behind the site begins the nature reserve, through which the cycling path B10 runs. In Podersdorf itself, there are many events, and there is always something going on in both high and low season. Occasionally, there is an evening program with music at the small bar on the campsite, and people get together for a sundowner. Otherwise, the site is quite quiet in the evening, and the security service ensures that there is peace later in the evening. On weekends and when it is very windy, the lake becomes an eldorado for kiters and surfers. There's also a lot going on at the campsite, and those who are not on the water watch from the shore. The shop directly at the campsite is not exactly cheap, but there are 2 large supermarkets in the village and several bakeries. We will always come back because, for us, the place and the town of Podersdorf are absolute guarantees for a lovely holiday.

Beautifully situated, right by the lake. We were in the second row with a view of the lake and the surfers. Nice swimming area. It took us only 15 minutes to walk to Podersdorf for food. Sanitary facilities very clean, friendly staff overall very good, we will come back.

The condition of the site is unsatisfactory: during rain, many pitches are underwater, and the water doesn’t drain properly afterwards. It seems high time to improve the drainage of the site. Then camping holidays in Podersdorf can be enjoyable again.

Seecamping Podersdorf is the place to be if you want to engage in water sports at Lake Neusiedl. The site is located right by the water. The sanitary facilities are good and appear quite modern. The pitches are sufficiently large. When booking online, you can choose your pitch from three size categories. The terrain is not particularly attractive. The ground is very hard, making it somewhat difficult to set up pegs in some areas. There is a small supermarket on-site.

We only spent one night at the campsite. It is peak season and therefore quite crowded. The check-in process was a bit chaotic. The plots are relatively small, the sanitary facilities are very clean, and the site is idyllically located right by the lake. They should have created one or two fewer plots per row; it all looked chaotic and the noise level was borderline. (Not because the campers were loud, but because the sheer number of people causes noise) We traveled with a dog, which was tolerated, but the site is not designed for dog owners, rather more for families or water sports enthusiasts, which is completely fine. (Dogs are not allowed by the lake, and the area for dogs on the campsite is also very small) In light of the Corona situation, I would have found it desirable to have a few more precautionary measures (e.g. mandatory mask-wearing in all communal areas). Departure and payment were simple and quick.

Here you can do kite surfing, windsurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding very well. It's also suitable for families because the lake is very shallow and the kids can play in it. There's a playground next door at the beach. For wine lovers, it's highly recommended; here you can do wine tastings with local producers (book in advance). The sanitary facilities are very clean. The pitches are all very spacious, so there are no issues with larger motorhomes. Burgenland also offers many bike trails, and Bratislava is only about 30 km away. All in all, you can say it's a top place that is also very reasonably priced.
