We arrived half an hour before closing and politely asked if we could set up our two small tents for one night. We were then very unfriendly told that the campsite was full and that we should continue on. The campsite was not even a quarter full... But good, ten kilometers further on, we found a place where we were very warmly welcomed and had a great spot.

Quiet and manageable CP, windy. We were there in the low season, definitely book in advance, always full in the evenings!!! If you want to explore the peninsula from here, the site is not exactly optimal. The nearest large supermarket is in Portree (about 25 km away), a small market is located in Staffin. Sanitary facilities are clean, but there are too few toilets for the site, you may have to wait. Wi-Fi is available throughout the site. The last 200 m approach to the site is single-lane (no passing point) - be careful if you arrive with a caravan. You can order something warm to eat in the evening on the site, it is delivered directly to the pitch (it was really good).
