Stadtcamping Schweinfurt

Very nice campsite with very clean, new sanitary facilities. Grass pitches with water/sewage and electricity. Everything within reach by bike. Free choice of pitches and everything is very uncomplicated. Highly recommended for a peaceful, relaxing short holiday.

Well maintained, sanitary area optimal, overnight stay possible with caravans, motorhomes must book 2 nights. Cash payment only. Located directly by fields, great walking rounds with dogs, however, no dog waste bags to be found for miles.

The place is without large vegetation and designed to be open. The buildings and sanitary facilities are top-notch. The staff member who welcomed us was very dedicated. One point of criticism: cash payment only (in 2023 a no-go)

Nice place, quiet, good facilities, clean sanitation, friendly staff, but the statement about Wi-Fi available throughout the site is a joke; only about 50 meters around the router has reception.

This campsite has nice large pitches, the sanitary facilities are cleaned twice a day and everything is very tidy and clean. There is a bakery nearby. Recently, motorhomes are only allowed to stay on this campsite if they stay for at least 2 days, while caravans are only allowed to stay for one night.

The place itself is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities are new and very clean. A bread roll service is not offered; one has to walk about 500 meters to the nearest baker. Unfortunately, the registration process is cumbersome and not particularly customer-friendly, as one must first walk about 400 meters to the workshop of the campsite owner. Finding the way after a prior phone call is not so easy for newcomers. However, what is completely unacceptable is the unfriendly demeanor of the person who then greets you. The tone of their statements is, 'I explained how to get here, and if you don't understand, it's your own fault. If you don't like our campsite, you can just keep driving.' One sits on a very high horse and obviously does not rely on guests anymore. Fortunately, there was still a second reception person who made an effort to practice friendly customer service.

We were passing through there. A beautiful place with new sanitary facilities. Everything very clean and tidy. So great to camp.

We felt very comfortable here. The site is conveniently located for visits from Schweinfurt and the Main cycling path. Nice new sanitary facilities, spacious pitches. This is what I imagine camping to be like.
