This campsite is conveniently located for a visit to the city of Schweinfurt. It is very clean and well-maintained, providing a quiet atmosphere. The facilities are functional, and the staff is friendly. Additionally, it is budget-friendly - perfect if you need to have your caravan serviced at Thein, for instance. While shopping and dining options are not available on-site, there are a bakery and local restaurants in the nearby area or in Schweinfurt.

We intended to stay for one night at the campsite, as we were simply passing through. However, we were informed over the phone that bookings are only possible for a minimum of two nights. Water and climate protection reasons were given as justification. We could not make sense of this explanation, as we are not aware of any corresponding legal regulation. Additionally, the phone contact seemed to lack customer orientation. According to our research, other campers have shared similar experiences in their reviews. It's a shame, because travelers just passing through would really appreciate the opportunity to stay for one single night. For this reason, we ultimately decided against a stay in Schweinfurt. Perhaps the operator will reconsider this policy in the future, as it can be off-putting for transit travelers.

Municipal campsite Schweinfurt – absolute recommendation. The municipal campsite in Schweinfurt impresses with its extraordinary tranquility, despite being in close proximity to the city. The sanitary facilities are very clean, and the showers meet a true 5-star standard. The camping spaces are generously sized and the entire site is impeccably maintained. In terms of accessibility, the campsite is excellently connected – the A71 motorway is quickly reachable. Another plus point: bakeries and dining options are located in the immediate vicinity. The absolute highlight: the caravan Thien is also nearby – ideal for a stopover on the way south and perhaps even to order a new caravan directly.

Very nice campsite with very clean, new sanitary facilities. Grass pitches with water/sewage and electricity. Everything within reach by bike. Free choice of pitches and everything is very uncomplicated. Highly recommended for a peaceful, relaxing short holiday.

Well maintained, sanitary area optimal, overnight stay possible with caravans, motorhomes must book 2 nights. Cash payment only. Located directly by fields, great walking rounds with dogs, however, no dog waste bags to be found for miles.

The place is without large vegetation and designed to be open. The buildings and sanitary facilities are top-notch. The staff member who welcomed us was very dedicated. One point of criticism: cash payment only (in 2023 a no-go)

Nice place, quiet, good facilities, clean sanitation, friendly staff, but the statement about Wi-Fi available throughout the site is a joke; only about 50 meters around the router has reception.

This campsite has nice large pitches, the sanitary facilities are cleaned twice a day and everything is very tidy and clean. There is a bakery nearby. Recently, motorhomes are only allowed to stay on this campsite if they stay for at least 2 days, while caravans are only allowed to stay for one night.
