Camping de Voetel

Camping is spontaneous travel with a caravan. The ADAC-Drive app especially helps us to find the right campsite. This is how we were alerted to this exceptionally beautiful campsite. The pitches are spacious and lovingly designed, and the special feature is the bathrooms available separately for each pitch. Everything is extraordinarily clean and well-maintained. The price-performance ratio is excellent. The operators are not only friendly but also unobtrusively warm and try to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible. Since the campsite is connected to a sports park, there is the possibility to practice or learn a sport. We really enjoy playing table tennis: no problem, in rainy weather a table was set up in the hall for us. This place is a true gemstone among all the semi-precious stones and pebbles.

Beautiful, well-kept, small campsite with modern private sanitary facilities. The owners speak German, are super friendly and helpful (for example, with a bicycle problem - thanks again!). The location was excellent for us, as within about 4 to 5 kilometers you can bike to the dune reserve/by the sea. Wonderful bike tours to the typical tourist destinations (Alkmaar cheese market, Bergen aan Zee, Egmond aan Zee, Zaanse Schans, etc.) are easily possible from the campsite. There is also a swimming lake and a train station (towards Amsterdam) nearby. We spent 11 nights there without needing to use the car. Supermarkets are in the village (also open on Sundays!) We will definitely come back.

Very nice camping. We were there in May 2025 and found it really great that we could also do sports there. The glamping tent was very well furnished, with coffee and tea for the first day. A shop is nearby. We were well accompanied by the owner.

We lacked for nothing. The place is very tastefully designed, has old trees, in close proximity six very nice enclosed tennis courts with a great terrace and extensive gastronomy.

We, my wife, I, and our grandson, spent wonderful days at the de Voetel campsite. The owner couple was very friendly and showed us our tent and the newly set up campsite. Our safari tent was great and fully equipped. The safari area was fresh and clear, as was the pitch area with spacious sites and wonderfully equipped private sanitary facilities. Additionally, there is a rich sports offer. A fantastic camping in a beautiful setting with dunes, beach, North Sea!
