There is nothing new there, but everything works. Due to the location in the nature reserve, there are many mosquitoes - somewhat bearable with citronella candles. Many locals are permanent campers, so it feels very Italian. We liked it!

First the negative: Animation unfortunately only in Italian. The same program every evening, so nothing for adults, but good for toddlers. English is only commonly spoken by certain staff. The paths on the campsite are in poor condition. Very poorly, there are no trees by the pool, thus no shaded areas, unless you rent two loungers with a sunshade every day for 13 euros. The sanitary facilities are disturbed with faucets in poor condition. The toilet flush buttons are defective, causing water to spray over the entire toilet seat when flushing. The shower fittings are worn and switch from cold to hot and vice versa by themselves. The showers by the pool cannot be used as they are overgrown with bushes, and there are also many wasps and mosquitoes in all the bushes. The toilet at the pool is a disaster! The beach is quite untouched, also regarding cleanliness. Annoying is the continuous whistling admonition by the lifeguards. Positive: Campsites for motorhomes or caravans are spacious. The pool area is suitable for all age groups. The restaurant is very good. All chefs enjoy their work and the food is really good and the prices are reasonable. The supermarket is sufficient. Conclusion: We visited the campsite once and it was okay, and the children, 6 and 10 years old, had a lot of fun but once more - no. The countless mosquitoes were very annoying, making it almost impossible to enjoy the evening. Only in the middle of the second week did they start to spray something against the mosquitoes every evening. Then it got better. Unfortunately, only the last three nights out of 15 nights.

We were on site for 11 nights at the beginning of August 2022. Positive: The location of the site in the nature reserve is very beautiful, the beach is large and there is enough space even in the non-lounge area. Some fallen wood is lying around, but this did not stand out negatively. Negative: Upon arrival, we immediately had to realize that the wait times at the under-staffed reception are unacceptable. We were lucky because we arrived on a Monday. Those arriving on the weekend reported a 2-hour wait for check-in. The pitches are partly not cleanly marked. Over the course of our stay, there was a considerable construction chaos. We could not utilize half of our pitch because it was needed as an exit path for another pitch’s vehicle. Unpleasant, although manageable with our not-so-large tent. But it should not be like that. The site should be kept an eye on and adjusted where necessary. We must also confirm that the site is predominantly in the hands of Italian permanent campers, some of whom have built proper bunkers that unfortunately all look a bit shabby and negatively influence the character of the site. At the pool, there are numerous sunbeds with sun umbrellas available for rent at 10 EUR for half a day or 13 EUR for a whole day. We generally do not use this since as campers you usually have the appropriate sun protection (beach tent or small umbrella) with you. Now we had laid down our small umbrella to provide some shade for the towels. Promptly, a staff member pointed out that this was not permitted and that if we wanted shade, we would need to rent an umbrella and sunbeds. For us, this is a real nonsense, especially since we have a small child with us, whom we cannot leave sitting in the sun for hours. Having to pay 10 EUR every day for some shade during an average 2-hour pool stay is outrageous. The washhouses were simply old, the pipes often clogged, and when pressing the flush, water sometimes shot out from the faucet into one's face. This really shouldn't be the case. Cleaning was (still) ok but not great. We are used to significantly better from other sites. Children's disco (we did not understand why this takes place only at 9:30 PM when many smaller children are already too tired) is exclusively in Italian. Not even English in a site that is trying to appeal to an international audience is also weak. Conclusion: 4 stars are clearly too high for this site. The ADAC rating is, in our view, incomprehensible given the shortcomings and significantly overestimated. 3 stars is okay. Nothing more. For the condition and the services at the site, the prices being demanded are too high. All in all, no recommendation. There are significantly better sites at similar prices.

Very crowded, hardly any space in the pool area as a result. Sun loungers and umbrellas must be paid for extra. In the evenings, the place is full of mosquitoes; although it is regularly sprayed, it doesn't really bother the mosquitoes. Usually, there is no mosquito alarm after 10:00 PM. The sanitary facilities are okay but no longer up to date.

The campsite has seen better days! You can tell the sanitary facilities are old! The campsite is firmly in the hands of Italian long-term campers with huge living caves! Next year, back to Croatia! The ADAC's rating is too positive!

The reception was very friendly. We rented a bungalow that is also dog-friendly. The first bungalow we were supposed to move into was incredibly dirty, even though it had supposedly been cleaned beforehand by cleaning staff?! First, the musty smell hit us, the mattresses were so stained, and the bed sheets were dirty. We found blood (at least it looked like it) on the floor, the shower head was full of mold, rust was everywhere on the refrigerator, extractor hood, and shower rod. After much back and forth, we were moved to another bungalow, which was not as extreme, but still had many defects. Fortunately, we brought our own bed linen. The agility area for dogs was just a dirty sand track. Unfortunately, there was too much sharp-edged garbage. We also reported this to the reception. The good thing is that there are litter bags and bins everywhere. That’s really great! On the site, there are also garbage bins everywhere, which are emptied regularly, so there’s no garbage smell or litter lying around. The pool itself had 2 showers for rinsing off, which, as is often the case, weren’t used. The pools were cleaned every Monday. There is really something for everyone here, from slides, whirlpool, to swimming areas. The wood around it gives a very well-kept appearance. Unfortunately, you have to pay for the loungers with umbrellas, otherwise, you sit in the blazing sun with your towel. I would somewhat avoid the toilets by the pool, at least the ones for women, as only one was functioning. Accordingly, it also looked like that. The campsite has a takeaway and a restaurant by the pool, which is really good. I was able to order gluten-free food, like tortellini or lasagna, in the restaurant. The beach can be reached by a shuttle bus that runs continuously from the campsite to the beach. Otherwise, the walk would be a bit far, I think. The beach has a separate dog area, and when we were there, it was never too crowded. Unfortunately, there are some rocks in the water. Overall, it’s a nice beach with a large bar where you can also get something to eat. There’s supposed to be free Wi-Fi as well. The campsite's own supermarket is a bit more expensive, but it has everything you need for the vacation. The shows in the evenings were mostly organized by the animators themselves. Here, they often spoke ONLY Italian, even at the children's animation. The highlight was a booked acrobatics group for the show. The animators put in a lot of effort, and there was a lot offered from archery to Zumba. At night, due to the many mosquitoes, an insecticide is sprayed throughout the complex with a vehicle! Conclusion: Italy yes, but probably not this campsite again, as we have just too many expectations.

The way to the beach is far, but there is a shuttle bus. Loungers and umbrellas at the pool must be paid for again daily per half day. Cover at the pizzeria costs an additional 2 euros per meal. Overall, I find the campsite way too large and confusing. Slides at the pool were also closed.
