Great location, right by the Werra. Very nice reception, bread roll service with delicious rolls. No Wi-Fi and unfortunately only very poor mobile reception. Ideal for visiting Hann Münden. You can hear the freight trains, but it didn't bother us.

We had a nice spot directly by the Werra. The operators are very nice. There was no Wi-Fi due to a provider change... Unfortunately, the mobile reception was very poor. Very frequent train traffic, which we found loud. The sanitary facilities were clean.

On the way back from the Baltic Sea, we chose this campsite as a stopover. Under new management, it was reopened 3 years ago and we were totally thrilled! Beautifully located in a valley through which the Werra flows, you even have a pitch right by the water in some places. Everything looks very well-maintained, including the toilets and washrooms, though they are a bit dated. A conversation with the very nice manager of the site revealed that these will be gradually modernized. Unfortunately, you have to cross a road to reach the toilets and washrooms, but it is really only very lightly trafficked. The inn that belongs to the site offers simple but very delicious dishes, and the prices are okay. You can comfortably stay here in the evening and even have breakfast in the morning! There is also a roll service. We will definitely aim for this campsite again when we have the chance and hereby give a clear recommendation to go and try it out. :-)

It is impossible to express in words what condition the main house of the beer garden and the toilets are in. I have been going on vacation with a caravan for 25 years, now with a motorhome, but with such a facility, I am at a loss for words.
