Typical city campsite, based on the motto 'the guest comes'.
Simple facilities, clean but everything open and therefore cold. Parking spaces completely unkempt. Completely overpriced prices. About €50 per day. Cheeky. Just because the old town of Dubrovnik is nearby. Look at the city and then get away.

We were here for 4 nights in area B. This is probably the newer area. The pitches were quite level and large enough for our 7m motorhome. Good for Visiting Dubrovnik
The campsite has definitely aged, and money needs to be invested again, especially the sanitary facilities are in urgent need. However, this probably won't change the cleanliness. Solitudo Sunny Camping impresses with its peaceful location in the middle of a dense deciduous forest. Despite the seclusion and tranquillity, which is ideal for a relaxing holiday, the historic city of Dubrovnik with its numerous sights is within walking distance. The site is ideal for a couple or family holiday, rounded off with relaxing and sunny days on the nearby beach.
Campsite in the countryside near Dubrovnik
The location is probably the biggest highlight of Solitudo Sunny Camping, as the campsite is located in the city centre of Dubrovnik. The site in Dalmatia is just 5 kilometres from the historic old town, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has become a popular tourist destination thanks to the TV series "Games of Thrones". At the same time, picturesque stretches of rocky coastline and sandy beaches await campers along the Adriatic Sea. There are 393 pitches for holidaymakers on the entire site, 238 of which are parcelled out. There are also 21 rental accommodations on an area of 7 hectares. The dog-friendly campsite is equipped with tumble dryers and washing machines. Campers will also find a small grocery shop and a communal kitchen so that they can easily cater for themselves. There is a children's playground and various entertainment programmes for the kids. In addition to the swimming opportunities in the Mediterranean, campers can also look forward to the spa facilities on site. The facilities are rounded off with fast and free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant and a dog shower. Overall, there is a sociable atmosphere at Solitudo Sunny Camping. All campers quickly feel at home here and come into contact with other holidaymakers from all over the world.

Of course, nearby Dubrovnik offers the most sights. The quickest way for campers to reach the city centre is by public transport or on foot, for example to visit the oldest pharmacy in Europe or the cathedral. We highly recommend taking a walk along Dubrovnik's city walls, from where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the streets. Travellers who would like to discover the nature of Dalmatia should take a tour to the small town of Ston. Here, you can drive through picturesque mountain landscapes and stop every now and then for a swim in the Adriatic Sea. You can also quickly reach the small island of Lokrum, which is known for its beaches and monastery, by boat from Dubrovnik.
