Great location right by the Céze river, in the middle of the forest, terraced. Large camping spots with a lot of privacy. The neighbor is partially far away. Rarely experienced a campsite where you feel so free and private. Some spots have their own fridge and/or own sanitation. Prices therefore vary according to the size of the spot between 23,-€ and 38,-€. Nice restaurant with terrace at normal prices. Nice pool (about 18 meters long). Lounge area with sand and palm trees. Many Dutch people with dogs (all very relaxed and nice), especially very quiet. Rarely slept so peacefully - woke up at 9:30 AM and still heard nothing(!). Swimming spot at the river is a dream. Many attractions nearby. Sanitary facilities very, very clean! Nice bar area. Very fast WiFi at the bar, restaurant, and reception. For me, one of the best places ever in France. We will come back.

Beautiful and very complete campsite. For us, this is a campsite that knows how to find the balance between entertainment and relaxation. Terraced grounds, but once you are up top, it's great and there is a lot of privacy. Both kids (4 and 9) quickly made friends and participated in some activities (e.g. crafts and movie night). Both the pool and the river were lovely. After 9 PM, it was quiet and peaceful. There are also very nice activities in the region like canoeing, climbing, mountain hiking, visiting the Ardeche, and much more. The restaurant is not cheap, but has super quality. The guests were not very international. Many Dutch, Belgians, fewer Germans and French.

Surrounded by the picturesque nature of southern France, campers can enjoy a relaxing holiday with their family or partner at Slow Village La Roque-Sur-Cèze. The site impresses with its charming ambience and numerous bathing facilities.
The highlight of the Slow Village La Roque-Sur-Cèze is its proximity to the Sautadet cascades to the north, which form part of the River Cèze. They are just a few steps away from the campsite and invite you to swim and play in the clear water, especially in the warm summer months. The river forms several calm pools here, where even smaller children can splash around. The campsite also offers an alternative on its own grounds in the form of an open-air pool. This is surrounded by sun loungers and also has a water slide, which is very popular with children.
The site is located in the south of France in the Occitanie department and is easy to reach from Germany thanks to the good transport links. The nearest larger town is La Roque-sur-Cèze, which is around 2 km away. However, holidaymakers don't have to travel far to go shopping, as there is a supermarket right in the neighbourhood. The Slow Village La Roque-Sur-Cèze also offers guests a snack bar, a kiosk and a restaurant as well as a bread delivery service. The campsite is particularly popular with families, as there is not only a paddling pool for children, but also an outdoor playground. The entertainment programme for children is also varied. The site itself not only has numerous parcelled out pitches, but also a number of bungalows, tents and mobile homes that can be easily rented. There are also numerous sanitary facilities and facilities for washing clothes. Every holiday at Slow Village La Roque-Sur-Cèze is rounded off with exciting excursions in the region. We recommend day trips to the local winegrowers, who often offer wine tastings, or visits to the regional markets in the nearby villages. For active holidaymakers, on the other hand, cycling tours and hikes through the Mediterranean landscape are an option. Canoe or kayak trips on the wild and romantic Cèze are also very popular.
