Slėnis Trakuose

A beautiful nature-friendly campsite right by the lake on different levels. Very spacious facility with sunny spots and under trees. A nice and competent employee welcomed us at the reception, communication was straightforward and also possible in English. What was clearly below the regional standard was the cleanliness and the condition of the sanitary facilities, dated back to the 80s. Washing dishes and laundry was not possible at all, and the hot water temperatures did not exceed 32 degrees Celsius.

We stayed for 3 nights at the site during a city tour, which we liked very much. Great beach for swimming and good location by the lake, well-equipped sanitary facilities with satisfactory cleanliness and the proximity to Trakai with the castle and good train connections to Vilnius are plus points. The site is -especially now in September- very quiet.

The place is directly by a beautiful lake with a view of the castle of Trakai. Nice beach with free sun loungers. Free choice of spots on a terraced area. Good WiFi. Sanitary facilities not entirely new but so far clean. Few waste disposal options. 9 km to the train station. From there, it takes 35 minutes to Vilnius. Runs almost hourly.

Super clean sanitary facilities, exemplary Wi-Fi on site, also the security service on site is very exemplary! We will definitely come back!

Beautiful place in a dream location directly by the lake with a view of the water castle from the beach. Varied, terraced terrain with grass and tall trees. Very good Wi-Fi. Entrance monitored by security. Reception is factual and not very helpful. Although there is a train connection from Trakai (9 minutes by car) to Vilnius, we were told there was no stop in the vicinity. Otherwise, rundown: Sanitary facilities barely tolerable. Shower stalls all broken and without storage space. The restaurant is a kind of takeaway where you get drinks in plastic cups for outside.
