Very beautiful campsite. Especially the lakeside pitches are a dream. There is everything on site and nearby that you need for daily life. Camping with a dog is also fun at this site. The new sanitary facilities are worth mentioning. 👌🏼

We stayed 1 night at this campsite - it was otherwise fully booked. The campsite is located right by the lake and is really beautiful. The sanitary facilities are brand new and really very nice and clean. However, there are 120 permanent campers and 120 holiday campers, which is, in my opinion, a bit too few for this number. But the site is packed, every cm is utilized. We were at the back and the ground - coarse gravel - was not that great, it looked as if it was not quite finished - although it was a comfort site. The exact marking of the parcel was not clearly visible. Diagonally opposite us was the access for dogs to the lake. I really think that's great - but the dog owners of course let their animals pee there next to our parcel and even right against our fence. It was cleaned up - but I can only shake my head at that. Perhaps this needs to be regulated a bit more precisely with a gate into the woods. Since we arrived on a Sunday and Monday was a holiday, there were no rolls, which I would actually expect at a now 5* site anyway. The kiosk in the village was closed and the order through the roll delivery service only works for Sunday and only if you order by 11 am on Saturday. At other campsites, you can pick up the rolls at the restaurant, or a bakery cart comes - that would really be worth improving. The pitches and the road within the site are very narrow. The campsite itself is clean, the restaurant is really super delicious, the service staff are sometimes a bit overwhelmed by the large influx. The lake is beautiful, great for swimming. There is a hiking trail around the lake with an observation tower overlooking the lake - really very nice. The parking arrangements for the cars also need to be improved. 2 campers just parked their cars on the street directly in front of the access to the dog swimming area - blocking our view of the lake (we were in the second row). Since the 2 caravan owners built a fence for their dog around their caravan, they had no space for their car. I know it to be that one either has their car in their parcel or parks at the parking lot outside. Since we only stayed 1 night, we said nothing. Exiting our parcel was possible after multiple maneuvers, but it is disturbing and should perhaps be better regulated. These are just small things - caused by campers - but they should be monitored and changed. Otherwise, a really nice site with great sunsets and the owner is really very, very nice.

Great, family-run campsite in the Bavarian Forest that conveys warmth from the first second. Child-friendly and dog-friendly facilities. Very idyllic and quiet location. Excellent hikes and bike tours possible on site. Children's playground at the beach with lake access. Delicious local restaurant, Seewirt, on the premises with tasty meals and regional beer specialties. Wonderful terrace by the lake. Rental of paddle and pedal boats as well as water trampolines. Excellent sanitary facilities, great children's pool and dog shower. Super for relaxation for everyone. The operating family is very nice and welcoming, as is the team at the restaurant + campsite, they give their all. Village Edeka with everything you need right nearby. Bread roll service on site. Rating: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We were at this wonderful place for 10 days. Our pitch by the lake was dreamy. The price-performance ratio is right, and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. You can eat very well in the restaurant, and the sanitation facilities are highly modern and always clean. Here you can relax, hike, go boating, enjoy nature, and also visit nearby cities like Cham and Regensburg. However, if you want to cycle there, you should be reasonably fit; it goes uphill and downhill. We were completely satisfied and will gladly come back.

So, back home!! We visited the site for the first time and can say that we will come back!! We were camping with a tent at this small but nice place by the lake, which is spoiled every evening with a beautiful sunset. The direct location by Lake Neubäuer is a dream. The sanitary facilities are very clean, as is the rest of the site. The owner seems to be on site around the clock to make everyone happy. Respect. So for all campers, definitely a recommendation!! This is how relaxation works.
