Long, flat terrain between the road and the north shore of the lake. One area is shaded by tall deciduous trees, the other is dotted with smaller trees. Some pitches are gravel, others grass-covered. Noise protection wall facing the road. A wide view over the lake to the mountains.
Separated from the lake (with a few small meadow lounging areas) by a fence and a bike/pedestrian path. Public bathing area next door, also with a beach volleyball court.

Modern newly designed site and TOP location directly by the lake. Very good restaurant. But unfortunately, a concept of the site that is not really thought out. Large unisex showers but far too few - daily waiting is necessary. 4 washing basins for over 100 pitches, patience is required here too. Missing children's bath. Small children are therefore bathed in the washing basins. Fresh/wastewater on site? - no, often only at the adjacent site and despite a 10-meter long hose, it is not accessible. Cleaning concept is only limitedly well thought out, very clean but absolutely must be cleaned with the floor machine (20m cable + hose on the ground) at 8:30 am? If someone flies over the hose... - It can be done significantly better. For those for whom the lake right outside the door is important, they can have a good vacation here as a couple. We would prefer to stay at Woferlgut (with small natural bathing pond and indoor pool) just a few kilometers away next time.

Nice campsite directly by the lake. However, we will not visit this campsite again. Some things should be reconsidered here. We have been campers for 20 years and have not experienced that, despite all the pitches in the area being free, one cannot enter the site before 1:00 PM. No work was carried out during this time, such as lawn mowing, for example. Furthermore, there are hardly any parking facilities in front of the campsite, leading to completely unnecessary chaos at check-in and discontent among campers on the arrival day. Urgent thought needs to be given to this. This is self-inflicted chaos. Additionally, the sanitary facilities are totally haphazardly designed. Not every woman wants to stand at the sink with a strange man in the morning. Moreover, there are always waiting times. Cleaning in the main hours in the morning only adds to this. No showers for children.

The location and the parking spots are great. The campsite and the sanitary facilities are also very modern and of high quality, but unfortunately not well thought out and definitely insufficient and underdimensioned in my opinion. When the other half of the site is finished, there will be too few toilets and showers. The campsite staff and reception are making an effort, but they also seem quickly disorganized and overwhelmed. Otherwise, it's a very nice campsite with a lot of potential. The occasional helicopter landings at the nearby hospital are actually not disturbing and are necessary; also, the street noise is manageable in the evening and does not really disturb.

We have already been to the Seecamp campsite 3 times. We always reserved a pitch in advance but were able to switch to the tent site without any problems, which was significantly cheaper. The campsite has a good location for many nice excursions by bus (free of charge). During the day, the rescue helicopter often lands at the hospital directly behind the campsite, but it didn't bother us. Unfortunately, the campsite is closed until the end of 2023, but it will surely have beautifully renovated sanitary facilities starting from 2024.

Reception: extremely friendly, Seating allocation and power connection: very quick, restaurant: great view of the lake - friendly service and very delicious food!! overall: a very nice place to stay longer... unfortunately, we were only here for 2 nights - but we will come back in 2022. Price-performance ratio absolutely okay!! ... those who complain about unfriendliness probably had "echo reception" :-))

Seecamp Zell am See is conveniently located on the northern shore of the lake and offers outstanding views of the surrounding mountains. Thanks to its lakeside location and the hiking and excursion options, the site is ideal for a swimming and activity holiday with the whole family.
The campsite covers an area of around 3 hectares and has 130 parcelled-out pitches for holidaymakers. Many of them have a connection to electricity, often also to water and TV. Modern and child-friendly sanitary facilities, a barbecue area and free Wi-Fi provide additional comfort. Due to its natural diversity, the campsite is worth a visit at any time of year. In summer, the hiking trails, a dip in the refreshing lake with beach and bathing island or a round of golf on the nearby golf course are tempting. In winter, there are countless ski slopes nearby and a directly connected cross-country ski trail. The Seecamp rents out bikes and boats for excursions. You can also take a leisurely stroll along the lakeshore to Zell, around 3 km away. From here, visitors can reach the Schmittenhöhebahn cable car, which leads up to Zell's panoramic and adventure mountain. Entertainment is also on the programme at the Seecamp. Children can play indoors and outdoors in the TOPI children's club and take part in the entertainment programme. Parents can enjoy the water of the lake or a meal for two in the lakeside restaurant with sun terrace thanks to the day care centre. A boat trip across the lake is also a romantic experience.
