Idyllically located and perfect for lovers of peace

Friendly welcomed by the owner upon arrival. Brief explanation about the rental camper received, everything very friendly. When a wasp nest was found by the camper and reported to the owner, it took him no more than two minutes to remove it. The owner cares greatly about the well-being of his guests. Unfortunately, we had to end our vacation early due to bad weather, which also was no problem for the owner. Conclusion: A nice short holiday at a clean and very pleasant campsite!

Unfortunately, in my opinion, every euro here is too much!

The Seecamping site in Obernzenn is, in my opinion, not worth the money you have to pay there. The site itself is quite nicely located and can be found directly next to the visitor parking lot for the lake. However, in my view, the site has some serious disadvantages of which, in my opinion, the site manager is the biggest drawback. We were there with a group, some camping, others visiting. I have never experienced a site manager during our camping time who was so rude, arbitrary, and unfriendly. This made our entire stay no longer fun, and the relaxation was completely gone. In my opinion, every euro you pay is too much, whether it is the 3 euros per visitor or the rent for the plot/parking space. I also did not have the impression that he understood that the customers/guests bring the money that the site and he must live on. The site itself is quite nice. The second sanitary building at the top of the site is a wooden structure that has 1 toilet and a urinal for men and 2 toilets for women. Additionally, there is a space for washing dishes. Showers are only available down at the entrance of the site. When we were there, the toilets in the upper sanitary building did not appear very clean to me. I have seen much better in other sites, even on sites that do not have a star. I found the permanent camper area in the upper part of the site to be quite chaotic. The usual order found in permanent camping areas was, for me, not recognizable here; rather, I had the impression that it was more or less in disarray. The second disadvantage is, in my opinion, the lake itself or the water. In mid-July, there were already warning signs about toxic blue-green algae everywhere, at the entrance to the parking lot and also at the beach itself. The water is murky, and after 30 cm depth, you cannot see your own hand anymore. In my impression, the Brombachsee is cleaner, and there are also campgrounds and parking spaces there. All of this would still have been within reason if we hadn’t experienced the site manager, who also seems to be the tenant, as so outrageous, rude, and unfriendly. Conclusion: a site that we will certainly not return to. And as I just see, we are not the only ones who experienced the site manager as unfriendly; according to the reviews, it seems to have happened to other guests as well.

We were there for one night at the site. The sanitary facilities in the upper area have a bit of a container charm. All in all, everything is there. We were satisfied and would have stayed one more night if we had more time.

A clean campsite! Everything is there! The owner himself constantly checks it! Clean sanitary facilities. Together with the lake, a fine thing! We were there for a total of 18 days with the caravan and enjoyed our time! Highly recommended!

Very nicely laid out and well-maintained site, sanitary facilities are basic but clean. The youth campsite is located on a hill with a great view of the lake or the sunset. Dogs are allowed. You just have to like that and not be disturbed by barking (but that was rare). There is a kiosk only by the lake during the day. Otherwise, there is a vending machine for drinks and an ice chest. There's a small Edeka store in the village (about 1.5 km away).

The place is relatively small, but offers everything you need. Clean sanitary facilities, large pitches, plenty of nature.
