We were at the campsite with friends from 10.8 to 24.8 in our caravans. Our pitches were next to each other and large enough. We used one pitch for our caravans with awning, tent, pavilion, etc., the other pitch for our cars. The sanitary facilities were new, always clean. Sufficient toilets and showers. A washing machine is available, we did not use it. There are 3 pitches, top. We felt good and booked for 2025. Again for Summer-Breeze. About a 20-minute walk to the Swedish meadow, just as well as to the beautiful old town. Also worth mentioning is the beautiful lake festival at our arrival on 10.8. After our setup, we packed up. It was very nice. Thank you very much until 2025. Sandra and Bernd Anne and Rainer

Online booking went very well. Check-in during the specified opening hours was very quick, friendly greeting. The terraced pitches are large enough for us (2 people with a 7m camper) the new washroom offers all the comforts and was always very clean. The site is about 50% occupied by permanent campers, so you can 'admire' everything from luxury cabins to decay. Nice lawn by the swimming pond. We will stay for 3 days. I can recommend it. Short way to Dinkelsbühl, beautiful bathing lake with lawn. The spots are well maintained. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. New unisex washroom, why not. Full recommendation. We were here for the Kinderzeche, so beautiful, rode in by bike for 15 minutes, then the wonderful event began. Restaurant is recommended.

We were very satisfied. We are a family with two children. The playground next to the restaurant is great. The mini-market has a little bit of everything. The roll service is great and the rolls were tasty. By the lake, there is a small beach and also a small playground. Large sunbathing area. We really liked the new unisex bathroom. With a small children's bath integrated and outside the building, there is also a dog shower. It’s not far to Dinkelsbühl. A very worthwhile city to visit.

Efforts are being made to redesign the site so that it can be referred to as a campsite again. Some plots of permanent campers resemble a "lost place" and are not very presentable. The check-in went quite well except for the fact that there was a double booking on our reserved plot. Celebrations, for example, at a birthday can sometimes go on into the early morning hours accompanied by music. The new washhouse (since December 2023) is okay, but honestly, I don’t understand why money is spent on an electric paper towel dispenser that is never filled. What’s up with that? The plots are mostly uneven and you have to level them. The restaurant on the site is okay, and the food is edible. The Wi-Fi is very unstable, and the internet reception is often extremely poor. There is significant potential for improvement.

I was on the site for 12 days in August 2023. I had my dog with me because the site was dog-friendly. The pitches were sufficiently large, partially under trees. The sanitary area was in a state needing renovation, but still bearable. The lake = large pond was very muddy. Unfortunately, dogs were excluded from swimming by many signs. A shame. The reception was a bit cumbersome, with not enough staff during peak times. The kiosk offered me very little, but due to the proximity to the city, it is also understandable. My current rating: max 2**

Dinkelsbühl the "most beautiful old town in Germany" and the campground...? After more than 30 years of motorhome holidays, this place ranks high on our top 10 worst places :-( The pitches are relatively small and quite uneven - but that is still the least of the evils. The horror has a name: "Sanitary facilities" - because they are not only old, but also downright disgusting. In the showers hang limp curtains in the wet (why are these rags hanging at all? No idea. The shower stalls have a lockable door). The silicone joints of the sinks have black mold in places, the odor, the urinals, and toilets resemble a train station toilet... We did not see any cleaning staff during our three-day stay... We preferred to use our toilet/bath in the motorhome :-( WLAN does not work at all - an absolute no-go for us, especially at an urban campsite. The pitch numbers are marked in white paint on the paths. However, some are no longer recognizable at all and it takes a bit of imagination to know where to park your motorhome. The place evidently lives mainly from the income of the long-term campers, of whom there are plenty here. In principle, no problem. But what we saw here looks more like a junkyard for discarded motorhomes and a bulky waste site. Adventurous is also the path to the sanitary building - especially at night: steep and uneven steps, loose concrete slabs. Lucky is the one who has a flashlight at night if he wants to go to the toilet... Right next to the parking place, weeds are growing several meters high. The "restaurant" on-site already indicates with a sign that guests with dogs can only sit in the adjoining room. In the height of summer, should we then be confined indoors with our dogs...? Then we prefer to leave the spot outside to the "regular guests". Also annoying, the "quiet time" at the campsite. This has led to us having to wait almost an hour at over 30 degrees in front of the site before we could access our reserved spot. Other campsites are better at this! Online reservations and using license plate recognition to access the pitch. Dinkelsbühl is already a beautiful city. But if we should ever come back here, we will head to the municipal camper site.

Simple place. The sanitary facilities above the site are aging but okay. However, we did not have a choice of camp site and had to stay as 'one night' campers in the alley directly below the beer garden, thus having to use the installed sanitary containers. Dogs are not allowed to approach the lake contrary to the photos on the website! It was also unfortunate that the campsite owners had a spontaneous party with their regular campers in the beer garden. All nice and good, but really annoying for us, as the party music went on until 2:30 AM. I did not receive any feedback regarding emails and calls about this. Also a shame. Price quite high for the whole thing: 35.40 including electricity and dog.
