Motorhome

October 2024

Unfortunately, the campsite was already closed in October. Only the small pitch was available. At €10,-- including electricity for one day, acceptable. The site was quiet, fully booked by around 4:00 PM. A water supply point was also offered. Unfortunately, there was no disposal facility, which led to a camper ‘neanderthal’ emptying all of his gray water at night, and we were standing in the soup in the morning. Urgent improvements are needed here. Visitors also pay a bit more for proper disposal.

Rejection with Tent

August 2024

Upon arrival with the bikes (2 adults, 3 children), we were immediately told without any greeting "we are full, we are not taking any more tents". Previously, we had sent an email, but we have not received a response to this day. We also could not reach anyone by phone. We often travel with a tent and bike, but we have never experienced something like this. We cycled 10 km further and thanks to the efforts of the camping operator, we got a beautiful, well-maintained camping spot there. Hall could learn a thing or two from this.

The place is quite okay, but I have seen better places. The trash is piling up and is already falling out of the bins again. At the reception, depending on the staff, you are served with varying degrees of reluctance. We booked a parking spot and when we arrived in the evening, there was a foreign parked car in our space, which no one seemed to care about. Somehow there's a lack of system. It's fine for one night.

Okay for a Stopover

July 2022

We were at the campsite for one night last week... the campsite was very unkempt... trash bins overflowing, there is a sun umbrella on one side that hasn't been there just since yesterday, and there's also paper waste piled up in front of the restaurant. The showers are not the newest... at the reception there was no greeting, just brief and to the point... the swimming pool has a basin that was super cold... even in the heat, the kids were shocked... icy... For one night, the place is okay..😉

Great campsite in a superb location

Very nice, well-maintained campsite a little outside of Hall in Tirol. The beautiful old town can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. Toilets, washing areas & co. are regularly cleaned and are very clean. The great outdoor swimming pool right next door can be used as well. Suggested excursions: Swarowski Crystal Worlds in Wattens and the Alpenzoo in Innsbruck. Both can be reached in about 30 minutes by bicycle along the Inn or by free bus ride (a ticket for this can be obtained on request at the campsite). We felt very comfortable for almost a week at the small but nice campsite with a view of the mountains.

Place to Relax or for an Active Vacation

April 2018

Whether we want to swim with the grandchildren, play mini-golf, cycle by the Inn, or go to nearby towns (Hall or Innsbruck), everything is within immediate proximity. The site is also well-suited with its motorhome pitches as a stopover for further travel to the south or, for example, to Lake Constance. In terms of maintenance, cleanliness, organization, and competent advice for leisure activities, the site can also hold its own against modern facilities. A big plus: the family atmosphere and the absence of the everyday hustle and bustle of a big city even during the peak season. From my perspective, as a frequent traveler almost all year round in Europe and overseas, it’s a recommendable campsite for everyone who can forego excessive super luxury.
