I was stupid!

Unfortunately, I did not read all the reviews, otherwise I would have been warned. The spots with direct lake view were all gone when I arrived, even though I paid the high price. The reception is only open until noon. The operator I reached by phone tried to explain to me that I was at the wrong campsite. When I tried to find something according to his instructions, he hung up and blocked my number. The mood was ruined right away. With a second phone, I got another operator who told me I could choose a spot wherever one was available. What did I pay for? No idea! Warning about this campsite!!!

Better not

We made a reservation in advance and also paid the full price for three nights. Several categories are available for booking, of which we had booked the blue (spots by the water). About half an hour before reaching the site, we called there since the announced SMS prior to arrival regarding information for check-in was missing. We were told that we could simply drive to the site and choose any of the spots in the blue category. Upon arrival, we then found that none of the spots were free and that many other campers were facing the same problem. Upon calling again, we were told that there was an error in the booking system, and the blue spots were overbooked. This was not mentioned in the first phone call, moreover, the spots were still being shown as available online. The alternative spots offered did not remotely correspond to what we had booked. Classic BAIT AND SWITCH. We then went to another really great site with a super friendly site owner.

Outrageous, do not book

Great location right by the water, although relatively expensive. Dirty kitchen, bathrooms not clean. Shower must be paid for additionally with a credit card. Not enough toilets/showers for the area. The website gives the impression of a great place, which unfortunately is not the case. There was also no appropriate response to complaints.

If there were no stars, I would choose this option. Most expensive place (525 NOK) on my trip for no significant service. Reception not staffed, did not receive the reserved and paid place. Only a bad feeling remains of being overcharged. Absolutely not recommended in my eyes. There are better places on the islands with a reasonable price-performance ratio.

Camping with Sites by the Sea and Between the Mountains
Pleasant6
Gudrun
Campsite right by the sea. A dream in nice weather. We had rain and very strong winds. Sites directly by the sea, a bit further away and in the mountains on a plateau. Electricity did not work everywhere. Sanitary facilities for ladies totally outdated but clean, too few. Sanitary facilities for men newer, a few more toilets and showers.

This place offers numerous pitches with fantastic views. Some new terraces have been established. However, all panoramic pitches are gravelled. The meadow area without spectacular views is set back. Wi-Fi is available exclusively in the reception area and the adjacent seating area. The sanitary facilities are old but were always clean during the 3 days of our visit - the dirt from the guests, as always, not rated by me. There are 2 washing machines available that can be used easily and then paid for at the reception on a trust basis. A real paradise for canoeists and anglers. The access road is very narrow, and one must drive with foresight.
