The reviews promised a lot, pony farm for children, swimming pond, clean sanitary facilities. What we experienced was the opposite. The sanitary building was only roughly cleaned after 3 days (with a Swiffer...). Of course, there was a signature twice a day. It is strange that the dirt from the first day was still in the same place on the fourth day. Pony riding was canceled because the operator stopped 2 weeks ago. The swimming pond was overcrowded and taken over by older children with no regard for any rules, so we had to leave amidst tears from the children. The afternoon quiet time is as foreign a word as the night quiet time. Mowing the lawn or driving diggers during the day, techno and bass until dawn at night. We had hoped and expected more. Complaints are not possible. Reception from 10 am to 1 pm and then also "not responsible" or not proficient in the German language...

Easy arrival even after the recipient's closing hours. Very friendly team. Pitch/rental accommodation: Very nicely designed plots for motorhomes.

We were on site for an extended weekend. Basically a nicely laid out campsite. Goat pasture, duck pond (with many different species), horse paddock, large playground, big dog area, and a pretty swimming pond. Now unfortunately comes a big but: That the swimming pond is only open on certain weekdays, we can understand due to regeneration. It's just a shame that these announced opening hours are not adhered to. When inquiring at reception, the response was: "not today"… very unsatisfactory, as the children definitely wanted to test the water again. The campsite advertises with an inn on the premises… Unfortunately, this was closed overnight, so one was dependent on a car if one didn't want to cook oneself. A bread roll service would be desirable. Again, you are unfortunately dependent on the car for that. Rules also seem to not apply to the permanent campers: Quiet time from 10 PM - but singing and shouting loudly over the campsite until the early hours. There are also no quiet hours for driving around the campsite - you can drive back and forth at any time. However, a successful event was the Ascension celebration. With live music, grilled food, and drinks in the beautiful courtyard. In my opinion, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Conclusion: Okay for a long weekend, but not longer.

👍 Quiet and beautifully located. Close to Rinteln and Lemgo. Camping pitch/rental accommodation: value for money. 👎 Second toilet key.

Neutral welcome, reservation apparently not found, still checked in without any issues. Free choice of spots, all pitches are approximately the same size and surrounded by hedges. Not exactly flat. Sanitary facilities are certainly a bit tight during higher occupancy, only 2 showers each. Unfortunately, not always very clean, of course also depending on the users. In the men's room, soap and disinfectant were empty, and were not refilled. No roll service, no shopping opportunities nearby. Restaurant only open for a few hours with limited service. Prices are in the mid-range. The site itself is very ambivalent, partly relatively well-maintained, many trash cans and dog waste dispensers. Partly also a construction site and unkempt. This is also due to some long-term campers, especially directly at the sanitary facilities and (unfortunately) at the rental caravans, which are bustling with noise, thirst, and commotion like a large construction site. I don't know yet if we will go there again.

We stayed at the campsite for two nights. I try to convey this in a neutral manner. We found the pitches to be sufficiently large and separated by hedges, with free selection upon arrival. I evaluate the currently closed restaurant neutrally. There are NO shopping facilities on-site; you must have thought of everything, or drive to the next town to get bread rolls. The infrastructure leaves much to be desired. The excursion opportunities are limited for motorhome travelers with children (no rating), the Patensteig is closed, and the swimming pond was closed during our visit (no idea why). Our children aged 8, 4, and 4 would definitely not have managed the inclines to the next towns by bicycle. The campsite is characterized by permanent campers. Sanitary facilities were cleaned twice a day during our stay. The playground looks good at first glance, but unfortunately, it is partly overgrown, for example with nettles in inconvenient places (where there used to be play sand). The horses/ponies and donkeys were a highlight, but unfortunately, it rained too heavily for us to ride the animals.

Beautiful campsite in a lovely location. Dominated by permanent campers. The vacation sites are located in a separate area. We stayed one night at the site, mainly to test our new caravan. The plots have electricity and fresh water. The sanitary facilities were clean and tidy. Unfortunately, we could not test the outdoor pool due to bad weather, but it looked very nice. We will definitely come back!
