The location is fantastic, but the site is a disgrace.

We were very disappointed with the condition and the operator service of the site. The spot booked according to the plan and photos on the website was occupied, and we were directed to another, smaller spot. The quality of the pitches is very poor. The untrimmed hedges further shrink the area. Power boxes can only be reached after searching and navigating cables through meter-wide hedges. The grass is also not mowed. Weeds grow all over the area, and leaves are not cleared away. Many overflowing trash bins. Even in the restaurant area, it is very untidy. It is outrageous that you have to buy shower tokens at this high price, especially given the state of the showers. There would be many more points of criticism compared to other well-maintained Dutch campsites. The campsite is not recommended! The price/performance ratio is unacceptable.

Access / Arrival: no signs or assistance - a nearly impossible mission with narrow roads / oncoming traffic / no possibility to turn around / no signage on the site - the holiday begins stressfully. Five campers got lost on the site during our stay. The site / the paths. Potholes, muddy areas, swamp - in response to our request to at least fill the potholes with gravel to avoid caravans getting stuck, we were told: we won't do it. Green maintenance is also a foreign concept here. Sanitation: no soap, no toilet paper (note: we sell it in the shop) lukewarm water at the sinks - the shower is a trickle - and for that, you still have to pay 50 cents. The only good thing: the lake and the pool. Nevertheless: never again.

The administrative building is new, but the site urgently needs renovation. The pitches and sanitary facilities, while clean, are outdated. Some paths are muddy. €65 per night and then having to buy shower tokens is excessive!

Overall, it wasn’t bad. The grass on the pitches was very tall and unkempt. The boxes for dog waste bags were all empty. The so-called minimarket was almost empty. The toilet facilities at the comfort pitches were closed. Otherwise, it was quite alright. But for the price, there’s still room for improvement.

Attention ! This place is a complete disaster. Everything is unkempt, a rudeness that knows no bounds. A washroom that is not only totally outdated but also absolutely dirty. Soap, towels, or toilet paper are nowhere to be found. In the children's pool, there is a hole in the floor and screws are sticking out. When we brought this up, we were shouted at. The total madness of what is going on at this place!

Positive: Very nice staff and you can tell that the place is being renovated and updated. The plots are very spacious. Negative: The sanitary facilities are still waiting for renovation, with some moss growth in the shower. Not having toilet paper may have made sense during the Corona times, but it is no longer appropriate now. The access route is inconvenient, no welcome lane and the entrance to the site, as well as the reception, are on different sides. The street is blocked by day visitors, making it impossible to park the trailer.

We were there a week before Ascension. The positive first: The staff was super friendly and accommodating. You can tell that the place is being spruced up; a lot of construction is going on, especially in the recreational area around the pool. Speaking of the pool, it was supposed to open on Ascension, but it won’t = Sad kids. The access is adventurous since Reze and our part of the site are on different sides of the street. Arrival lane = nonexistent. The street was completely parked up, so I had to make a long detour while my wife checked in and got the barrier card. Small trees are growing from the ground of the washhouses, moss is growing in the showers, and water sprays in all directions from the permanently installed showerheads. A rusty iron rod posed a risk of injury on the beach. Still, we would give the place another chance. A lot is being done.
