A campsite you must want.
The site is perfect for reaching many Thuringian hiking destinations. Depending on the pitch, you have sun all day or, if you prefer, also shade. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained, but on the ladies' side, it is often cold. Although the site has a pond which you can paddle on, fishing… More

Hidden Gem
A small cozy quiet place outside of Finsterbergen on the edge of the forest. The sanitary facilities are first-class, the pitches are sufficiently large. Winter Camping
The site is open in winter, but the parking spaces are only inadequately paved, meaning that when driving onto the parking space, it can happen that you leave marks behind. Unfortunately, we were reprimanded inappropriately by the owner for this, and we will not be returning here.

Top campsite with top sanitary facilities And nice operators We were there for the second time and had a good rest to mention Is also a good starting point for hiking and cycling we will definitely go there again

quiet and family-friendly
small facility away from the big wide world. Showers and toilets are okay but not outstanding. The sinks are designed with a lot of love. Sanitary facilities are always clean. Our pitch was no larger than 100 sqm but sufficient for a medium-sized caravan. Don't forget wedges - it's a bit sloped.

We really liked the place as it is ideal for us to relax. Very quiet location right in the Thuringian Forest. Since we don't need any entertainment, we cannot assess that point. All in all, a recommendable place that has its charms in both summer and winter.
