The campsite has clearly aged and is in need of modernization in many areas. In particular, the sanitary facilities no longer meet today's standards and are disappointing for discerning guests. On the positive side, the swimming pool and the restaurant enhance the experience. The operators are very friendly and dedicated, but seem a bit overwhelmed by the multitude of tasks. Overall, it is only recommendable with restrictions. Those who do not have high demands for modern sanitary facilities and can overlook the need for renovation will still find a place with a nice team, a good restaurant, and a beautiful swimming pool.

Since the Brunautal campsite was fully booked in mid-September, we ended up here for one night. On the way through the forest, we thought we might end up here. The first impression was: it’s closed. There’s nothing left. But the reception was manned and we stayed for one night. 28.50 € for a motorhome, 2 people, including electricity. Can’t complain about that. The sanitary building is quite outdated, but the interior is very clean and easy to use without any problems. The swimming pool itself looks clean. The weather wasn't suitable for swimming. The site seems unkempt, natural. In heath style. The little restaurant surprised us. Nice menu and good food. We can recommend this. Recommended for a stopover. For longer it would be too lonely for me.

Spacious site. Well-suited for families with children. Friendly staff, even at the restaurant. But poorly maintained facility. The sanitary facilities are outdated, could be better maintained. Price does not match the app. However, we still had a lot of fun during the week, as there were plenty of opportunities for biking and hiking.

The sanitary facilities are only partially usable. The paths are strewn with shards of glass!!! Every dog owner must be thrilled, especially since an extra €4 is charged for the dog. Waste recycling urgently needs to be recycled. A once beautiful place is completely neglected.

An aging site. The outdoor facilities were unkempt, and we only used the sanitary facilities for the essentials. We could choose our parking space, which was very nicely located in the woods. The highway is within hearing distance. From the site, one can directly enter the forest or also start cycling tours into the Lüneburg Heath.

A beautiful campsite with moorland and trees all around. Very friendly service, a charming restaurant and very clean sanitary buildings. A good pool and a playground for children. Easy to access, very close to the A7 highway and near Hamburg. Definitely worth visiting!

Friendly reception at a very natural camping site with great service. A very clean swimming pool is available for guests. The plots have many trees and are very spacious. Due to the short distance from the highway, this site is also ideal for passers-by. Especially noteworthy is the excellent culinary art of the owner couple. Great food and great service particularly distinguish this place. Interesting excursion destinations nearby.
