Great place, very friendly staff! However, the sanitary building was much too cold, in terms of both the room temperature and the water temperature in the showers.

A great spot with everything one needs.

The location of the campsite is excellent, everything is nearby, whether it's the beach, Edeka, or the promenade. The campsite itself is close to a "wooded area," great for walking dogs. The site is basic, but the green areas are well maintained and clean. Unfortunately, we were not at all satisfied with the sanitary facilities. A strong smell of urine greeted us each day upon entering, and overall, it gives a dated impression. Showering is also not pleasant; you can press a button for hot water, but the timer only runs for three minutes, and you have to turn on the cold water separately. If you’re not quick enough, you end up under cold water, as that also has to be separately turned off. Then there's a two-minute waiting period. Washing dishes is cumbersome, you press and only a short burst of water comes out, so you have to keep pressing. The Wi-Fi offering is outrageous, charging €29 for hardly any reception.

First of all, a big compliment to all the staff, who were all very friendly and helpful. Due to the weather, the water connection at the site was turned off; coincidentally, I noticed that the water had been turned back on in the meantime. An information beforehand would have been helpful before I fetched water across the whole site. Also, the information about the opening of the sanitary facilities would have been nice. The showers are "a bit tricky"; valuable seconds pass before the right temperature is set, better not to pause, because then only cold water comes out. Overall, however, we are very satisfied with the stay and will definitely come back.

We were disappointed with the sanitary facilities. First of all, you had to constantly press the tap for water to run, and neither my husband nor I managed to get warm water from the tap. We were at sanitary installation 1. Furthermore, the area was very waterlogged due to the rain. To be honest, we expected something better for the price. Compared to the price-quality ratio, we prefer the campsites in Kühlungsborn and Zingst.

Nice versatile place. Close to the Baltic Sea and the center of Boltenhagen. On-site with everything you need. Including a good restaurant, supermarket, gas sales, and plenty of information for the region. Especially the mentioned restaurant and the comfort showers are great.
