Summarized by AI
This campsite scores with its fantastic location right on the Baltic Sea and its proximity to the beautiful beach. Campers particularly enjoy the friendly staff and the great infrastructure right next door. Good to know for the trip: There are some deductions when it comes to the cleanliness and condition of the sanitary facilities.

I've never encountered a campsite with such poor cleanliness for 100€. After 60 years of camping at this price, it’s unacceptable. Cold water for washing dishes, my neighbor lent me her bucket to fetch warm water from the shower, something I’ve never faced before. All toilet seats were crooked, none were properly secured. I even had to withstand insults. I was told not to tell lies just because I asked if the water would get warm, by a staff member on an electric mobility scooter. This insult was shouted at full volume, of course in front of many people. The urinal on the left was clogged for over 3 days. The washbasins were partly unusable, no water. Disinfection after using the toilet? Sometimes yes, mostly no. How is this high price justified? A swimming pool? Special attractions? It’s a scam. Are they trying to drive away holidaymakers? For us, never again. Michael Kolewe

A beautiful spot close to the beach. Unfortunately, we often had to shower in cold water, as hot water was only rarely available. The path from the camping area to the sanitary facilities is relatively long.

The location is perfect; everything is easily reachable within a few kilometers on foot or by bike. However, the campsite unfortunately is not at its best possible standard.

There was no hot water for showering and rinsing despite the comfort bathroom. There was no organic waste bin at the washing area to dispose of food scraps. The value for money was simply overpriced. The pitch and location were good. Following our complaint, we received a 20 percent refund for the comfort bathroom. We couldn't use the bathroom for an entire morning due to a blockage. Perhaps one should visit the campsite in Kühlungsborn to see the comfortable bathrooms they offer for significantly less money. When we couldn't use the comfort bathroom, we wanted to wash at the normal sink in the washroom, but that was entirely impossible because there was also no hot water there and the faucet turned off immediately, just like at the washing sink. Unbelievable, I've never experienced anything like this.

It was very nice. The chosen pitch was optimal. Unfortunately, on Friday during the midday rest, mowing took place in our vicinity. The pitches were already empty upon our arrival, and the mowing could have been done beforehand. This is just a suggestion. We will definitely return next year. Everything else was great!!!

The very friendly reception was a plus. The pitch was okay, but the infrastructure is not up to date: the disposal of grey water and toilets is very basic, and the showers have a 3-minute timer for hot water, which doesn't work properly and turns to cold water after just 1.5 minutes. However, you can rent a private bathroom for an extra fee. Wi-Fi costs €4 per day and is very poor, even near the reception. Considering the prices, we had a much more comfortable stay with additional services at the Côte d'Azur. Here, the price/value ratio is not satisfactory.

I find it unfortunate that during the registration process, there is no indication that there are additional costs for preferred pitches. I requested a preferred pitch, which was confirmed to me, and I assumed it was suitable. Then I received another confirmation, and that was it. I find this a bit unfortunate. Additionally, regarding sustainability, I do not understand why we need to dispose of the access cards.

The location is excellent – just a few minutes away from the beach. The site is nicely green, quiet (many permanent campers), and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the entire facility appears to be quite outdated. In several places, faucets and other amenities were broken, and the sanitary buildings are old. The water temperature in the showers was difficult to regulate and was often very inconsistent. The 3-minute shower timer with waiting time is additionally not very comfortable. We were most disappointed by the price-quality ratio. This year we have already stayed at the LuxOase and Ferienparadies Natterer See. Both had a similar price point but offered a significantly more modern setup and better sanitary facilities. It's a shame, because the location truly has potential. In this condition, however, we would not book the site again.

Countless activities as part of the entertainment programme for children make the Regenbogen Boltenhagen the perfect destination for a family holiday. Those seeking peace and quiet will appreciate the wellness oasis, where there is a sauna and a varied massage programme. Sports enthusiasts can use the tennis and beach volleyball courts.
As one of the oldest seaside resorts in Germany, Boltenhagen can look back on a long tradition. Less than 1.5 km from the famous pier in the Baltic seaside resort, Regenbogen Boltenhagen invites you to enjoy an unforgettable family holiday by the Baltic Sea. The 12-hectare meadow site borders a forest and is quiet, especially at night. The pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents are not only reserved for permanent campers, but also offer plenty of space for guests in the high season. The spacious pitches have electricity and water connections. Grey water disposal, emptying the toilet cassette and fresh water supply are no problem at all on the holiday park. Early booking of pitches is highly recommended to ensure a relaxing camping holiday in the Baltic seaside resort of Boltenhagen. The ADAC comparison price is a perfect benchmark for calculating costs during the peak season, when the pitches on the holiday resort are in particularly high demand.
If you are self-catering on holiday on the Baltic Sea coast, you can buy the right ingredients in the large supermarket right next to the Boltenhagen campsite. Gourmets can enjoy fish dishes, North German home cooking and other dishes in the restaurant "Das Landhaus". When families are not on the nearby wide sandy beach, they can take advantage of the varied leisure programme at the campsite. They will find countless opportunities to let off steam in the pirate playground. Fun entertainment is organised during the summer months: Dedicated carers invite children to the rainbow children's disco, craft workshops or a hands-on circus, among other things. Teenagers can choose from joint excursions through Boltenhagen or beach parties. While the kids meet new friends, parents seeking peace and quiet can retreat to the modern spa paradise. They can enjoy a relaxing time in the sauna area and with massages. The campsite is popular with sports enthusiasts thanks to its tennis and beach volleyball courts. There is also a bike hire service so that guests and permanent campers can follow the Baltic Sea long-distance cycle path.
