Recreatiepark De Scherpenhof

We had a pitch on Fish Island. It is quiet there, the pitches are very large and adjacent to the IJssel or bathing lake. Electricity is available, but only weakly secured. There are also water points. The paths to the sanitary facilities are quite far, but still acceptable. Showers run with coins, toilet paper is not available, and in the washroom there are no hooks for towels or similar. Generally, however, it is in a decent condition.

The site is very nicely located by the IJssel. However, that is also the only positive thing about the site. The facilities are trash and very unclean. There are two toilet buildings. One is a case for the health authorities. The second building is quite far away and relatively new. There was no cleaning. No toilet paper or hot water either. The electrical boxes are neither safe nor do they meet EU standards. CE safety is absolutely non-existent! Actually, you can't recommend the site. The pictures are extremely misleading! Never again!

Location by the Ijssel very nice. Unfortunately, a toilet house has aged. The place gives a neglected impression.

Pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitch was okay, but without shade. 👎 Accurate signs to the pitches, cleanliness in the washroom, the dishwashing area, unclear opening hours of the restaurant, no roll service. Pitch/Rental accommodation: With low occupancy of the campsite, there should be options for pitch selection, for example due to shaded sites.
