Vakantiepark De Klepperstee on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee is located in a quiet holiday home area behind the dunes of the South Holland North Sea coast. The site is only around 1 km on foot through the dune meadows from the long sandy beach. The centre of the nearest town, Ouddorp, is around 4 km away. Numerous hedges on the site ensure plenty of privacy and a completely natural layout. A nice feature of Vakantiepark De Klepperstee is the campsite's own natural swimming pond. There is a varied programme of activities for young and old, with lots of family-friendly activities such as campfires and archery.
This nature-inspired campsite is ideal for leaving everyday life behind.
MTB track, orchards, beehives, herb gardens, vegetable raised beds, greenhouse, natural swimming pool without chemicals, wooden playgrounds, and an energy-efficient, ecological main building.

The place was very, very beautiful. I find it very frustrating that we could not cancel our third night despite a century storm that posed a real danger to life and limb, and therefore we had to "flee". Then one must probably book from day to day with you in the future. Very, very unfortunate. That’s not how a serious provider acts, is it?

After the reconstruction, the square is one of the most beautiful in NL. The access should be adjusted as some squares cannot be approached with vehicles measuring 6.50m due to right-angled and sharp-angled entrances and poorly positioned posts, especially since low-hanging branches can scratch the roof. The formerly available water connections at every site are no longer present. However, the gain and charm of the parking spaces due to the redesign are very high and invite a return.

We were with 8 motorhomes at the Drive-in Camperpark de Klepperstee over Easter. Everything newly laid out, very spacious sites and the sanitary building is also very new and was always clean. Everything from the campsite could be used. We had already booked at the end of last year and made the final payment beforehand. 2 days prior, you receive the locker code by email, which was valid for this period. We were allowed to have a small Easter fire and the staff was very friendly and accommodating when we had questions. All in all, we were very satisfied! The location is great, close to the beach and it's not far to Ouddorp either. We would love to come back!

So far, a highly recommendable campsite with generous pitches, although not located directly on the beach. Unfortunately, vacation homes are now being built there on a large scale, and the best pitches have to go. Let's see what remains....

The sanitary facilities are in poor condition and not sufficiently clean. It's a pity, as the site is very beautifully located and otherwise makes a good impression.

Large campsite with surprisingly many available spots over the long Corpus Christi weekend. The campsite is located directly across from the drive-in camper park with the same name. If all spots are occupied there, it is still no problem to get a spot on the campsite at night at 11 PM. For an additional fee of €5, an employee will come at night and assign you a camping spot. The parcels are large and mostly well-maintained. Not all have electricity, water, and wastewater connections. If these are available, they are included in the price of €19.75 per day. Additionally, there is a tourist tax of €0.95 per person per day. Showers and Wi-Fi are also free of charge. Some improvements could be made to the sanitary facilities. For example, there are sockets in the sanitary rooms, but none that can be used to operate a hairdryer. There are several large playgrounds in the campsite. The very wide North Sea beach can be reached by bike in a maximum of 5 minutes, as well as a small Spar supermarket. The town center of Ouddorp is approximately 4 km away.

The place is large and somewhat impersonal. The staff is a bit inflexible and only as friendly as absolutely necessary. However, the place is basically okay.
