Cons

The trekking hut is spacious. However, both the hut and the furnishings are quite dated. In my opinion, it could use a refresh. Other than that, everything worked fine. Unfortunately, the showers were a disaster. For each shower, you need to insert 0.50 € for about 7 minutes, which is acceptable. But the showers should function properly. In our case, cold water flowed for most of the time, and we had about two minutes of warm water before the shower time was up. The next day, another attempt: 0.50 € inserted, but the water was still cold. Campsite/Rental accommodation: The hut and especially the showers.

We had a delightful week at the campsite, enjoying clean and excellent sanitary facilities as well as a friendly reception. Site/Accommodation: We were assigned a beautiful, large camping pitch with electricity.

Clear labeling on the signs to mark the camping spots. These were blank. The camping brochure states that it is a quiet, peaceful campsite and that there should be complete silence at 11 PM. However, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday saw loud noise on the large camping field continuing until 1:30 AM. This was the main reason for not returning to this campsite. Site/accommodation: See above

Cons

The sanitary facilities were spotless, but here are a few tips/experiences; - Showers had a very weak water flow (I was the only one showering), and it took over 3 minutes for the water to get warm. Whether you actually get 6 minutes is questionable. - The coin machine outside the shower cubicles is not convenient when the water suddenly stops. - The hand dryer is placed too high or doesn’t work. - Different toilet bowls in the men's area are loosely placed on the ground. - A bit of paint here and there would do wonders for the campsite’s appearance. - Playground equipment should be checked later for deficiencies. The location was good. The pitch/accommodation was large enough. We were there with our caravan.

Unfortunately, the swimming pool was closed the entire time. The door to the sanitary room slammed terribly, making it very noisy at night. The pitch/accommodation should have had the swimming pool open, as stated on the homepage. That was a real shame!

👍 There is a lot of privacy at the cabin, a spacious six-person cottage. Fun activities for the kids. Cars drive slowly over the campsite, with a beautiful environment and plenty of things to do. Nice swimming pool, no oversight but that's fine. Pitch/Rental accommodation: Clean and spacious. Even a large freezer, which is very nice in the summer. 👎 The entrance is not very inviting, the building looks run down. But we understand that there is a major renovation underway, so it is understandable. Little advertising online for recreation. This would attract much more clientele. Initially, we didn’t think it would be so nice at this campsite! Ultimately, it is a real recommendation. Unfortunately, there was a lot of dog poop on the paths and fields. I also have a dog. While walking, we saw many guests simply letting their dogs out on the grounds and even in the fields. It is difficult for campsite management to control this, but the type of rundown mobile homes and regular guests sometimes says enough about behavior. Pitch...

👍 Friendly and helpful reception. The campsite is divided into permanent campers and a section for seasonal campers and travelers. The pitches were spacious and equipped with electricity. Water could be fetched at a water point on the field. The campsite is shaded by high trees that separate the different fields. This made the pitches sandy, so a floor covering for the caravan is advisable due to the sand that gets brought inside. The toilet building was clean, and for the shower, you needed to pay 50 cents (exact change) for 6 minutes of showering. The campsite needs an update and maintenance.
