Pros

Beautiful terraced camping. Luckily we stayed at the top of the campsite, otherwise it would have been quite a climb every time. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: Nice large spot for a big tent with a car. The electricity worked fine. The water tap was right at the spot.

Cons

The toilets are small. The shower area has no partition, so your clothes and shower bag get wet. The shower water is cold. The water temperature in the shower cannot be adjusted. Several taps are loose. Soap will not be refilled after September. There is no door in the sanitary facilities, which makes it cold. The water temperature in the swimming pool is cold. A lot of nuisance from people in the chalets, especially after 11 PM until deep into the night. No oversight after 11 PM. Noise and cars drive around the site between 11 PM and 7 AM. Standplaats/Huuraccommodatie: The fire hose is in the way at the water tap point at spot 34.

Cons

The lighting in the first corridor to number 7 was broken, making the path to the sanitary facilities difficult in the evening. Also, there was no soap washbasin for handwashing.

Spacious camping pitches, clean sanitary facilities, friendly and helpful staff, Pitch/Accommodation: Beautiful large pitch, plenty of shade and privacy due to greenery and well-kept spots!

Cons

- Expand the swimming pool! - Larger terrace for the swimming pool - Many more shaded areas on the terrace and around the swimming pool! - Football field with boarding - Level more ground next to the swimming pool for sports fields, entertainment, etc. - Shop stocked with more products, extend opening hours and generally increase space - Animation program is minimal, add simple things like hide and seek and organize tournaments more frequently (football, etc.), every evening there were many children on the football field, plenty of enthusiasm - Restaurant and takeaway should offer more healthy choices.

Pros

We had a nice holiday at the campsite. The atmosphere is relaxed. In the evenings, it is really quiet on the campsite by 11.00 PM. The food in the restaurant was delicious! Pitch/Accommodation: Beautiful camping spot with hedges in between, providing enough privacy.

Cons

It is a terraced campsite, and we were located all the way down, which meant a steep climb up to the top. The sanitary building below was not clean and very old. Pitch/Accommodation: It's a shame there isn't a water tap at the camping spots. It was a tight fit to park the car at our camping spot.

Pros

We had two wonderful days at the beautiful campsite near Castellane and would have loved to stay longer. The staff is very nice and accommodating (communication in German/English is easily possible), and they provide many tips for excursions and hikes in the nearby area. In the mornings, you can enjoy delicious bread and croissants while taking in the stunning views of the valley and mountains. The highlight for our daughter was the huge, beautiful pool area. But the surrounding nature is also gorgeous and invites exploration. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return. Campsite pitch/Rental accommodation: The pitch was spacious with a great view and, despite the sloping terrain, it was relatively flat. The campsite itself was tidy and clean, with good and adequate sanitary facilities.
