Camping Playa Las Dunas is located just a few steps from the wide sandy beach in El Puerto de Santa María and offers a relaxed camping holiday under the Andalusian sun. On the spacious, slightly undulating grounds, motorhome and caravan campers enjoy generous pitches, some shaded by pine trees. The direct proximity to the beach and the laid-back atmosphere make it an ideal destination for beach lovers, families, and active holidaymakers. In addition to an outdoor pool, sports activities, and a small grocery store, the surrounding area offers a wide range of activities. El Puerto de Santa María and other Andalusian highlights are just a stone's throw away.
A beach holiday can be excellently combined here with visits to the nearby western Andalusian cities of Cadiz and Jerez de la Frontera.

The lady at the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. She gave excellent tips. The sanitary facilities and especially the pool are top-notch. Miguel, the site allocator, is a disaster. Even though the site had many free spaces, he assigned us, even upon request, a space in the farthest corner, so to speak, in the city. If the locked access had been open here, we would have saved a good 1 km walk to the ferry. Also, it was more than 500 m extra to the beach. For this reason, we will not return.

Well-maintained place with first-class sanitary facilities. V+E is generously available on the site. The staff is friendly, although it takes some getting used to.

Over the years, the level of Camping Las Dunas has noticeably declined. After a rainy day, the entire pitch was underwater and the following day we had a muddy area available. If the operator would put gravel on the pitches, this whole 'mud mess' would be resolved. At other campsites, this is resolved exemplary. For the price, one can expect a reasonable pitch.

Great beach - super location to explore Andalusia, definitely recommend the ferry trip to Cádiz. Service and sanitation relatively good - BUT: Anyone who cannot give up on the media world or streaming via the internet will have a nightmare here when the site is full (which it was in February): There are several repeaters/amplifier antennas, but unfortunately, they all only transmit at 2.4GHz, like practically all mobile devices, which then eliminate each other; unfortunately, none operate at 5GHz. Even with my mobile router and Wi-Fi amplifier antenna on the camper roof, there was no chance during peak usage times. Very poor - but good for mobile phone companies, if customers can also get a network. Bottom line: not 8, but only 6 (out of 10) points.

Large square with spaces for smaller vehicles under pine trees, very clean sanitation facilities, small shop, café and restaurant. Via the promenade to the large sandy beach. - About a 20-minute walk to the bus or catamaran to Cádiz, 30 minutes by car to Jerez de la Frontera. - Definitely recommended.

During our first visit in 2020, we were very enthusiastic, the staff was very friendly, and the prices were still acceptable. The adjacent restaurant also had good food at a reasonable price. Today, after our 5th visit, the situation has changed drastically. The parking space is very expensive; an overnight stay costs 49€, the space is small, warm water is only lukewarm, and the staff is very unfriendly. We will continue to visit the region, but not this campsite.

Anyone who wants to visit Cadiz - by ship or by bus - cannot avoid this place. We let ourselves be gilded: We paid €96 for 2 nights, alone electricity per day €26. It is the 'Holy Week' before Easter... The place itself is beautiful, clean and well-maintained sanitary facilities, nice supermarket, restaurant, etc. Nevertheless, there is also a but here: extremely slow internet, shower lukewarm and not adjustable... It’s a bit of a walk to the ferry terminal to Cadiz, but the visit to the wonderful city compensates for a lot!
