Parque de Campismo Foz de Alge

The campsite is idyllically located in Foz de Alge in the municipality of Arega in the Leiria district of Portugal. It is situated right at the mouth of the Alge River. This green setting offers a wonderful, natural environment that is perfect for hiking and relaxing away from the crowds.

Since we currently do not have detailed ADAC inspection data for this site, we unfortunately cannot tell you exactly how many parcellated pitches or rentals are available. However, such natural campsites in Portugal typically offer shaded pitches for tents and caravans in green surroundings.

The region around Figueiró dos Vinhos is characterised by a hilly river landscape. An important tip for you: since the nearest town centre is in Arega and larger supermarkets are a bit further away, you should stock up well on provisions beforehand. This way, you can fully enjoy the peace of nature.

Since the campsite is currently not bookable directly through PiNCAMP, we unfortunately do not have up-to-date prices. Here are the most important points for your planning:

The journey leads you into the hilly region of Leiria. The roads can be a bit narrow and winding here and there – so drive with foresight, especially with a car with a caravan. For the ground, we recommend packing a few sturdier pegs for your tent or awning just to be on the safe side.

Shopping options directly on the campsite are often very limited. For larger purchases or a restaurant visit, it is best to drive to the nearby town centre of Arega or to Figueiró dos Vinhos. There you will find local supermarkets and cosy Portuguese taverns offering delicious regional dishes.
