Never again. We were there for the second time, thinking that the bad impressions from the first time were an exception. But no. At the reception, we were asked when I showed the ACSI card what we wanted with this card, if they should write it down?! Although it is recommended by Acxis on the invoice header. Then the bill. Space, persons, tourist tax, energy fee, electricity fee, and then also costs for 2 shower tokens. All in all, 45.60€ for one night, 2 people with a caravan and car in the low season. If the location wasn't directly by the lake, the campsite probably wouldn't exist anymore. See the other reviews.

Basically a quiet place with little space to walk and no card payment at the kiosk. Dogs are not allowed to be walked on the premises either :/ it could also be cheaper.

We were at this campsite for the 4th time and also the last time. The staff member at the reception was unfriendliness in person! Then she wanted 61€ for a spontaneous overnight stay without electricity, etc. The invoice had a "reservation fee" of 15€, and when asked about it, she became rude and claimed it was a "mistake". It smells like a scam! The sanitary facilities are old. The men's toilet was constantly under water. (risk of accident) For the umpteenth time, the ventilation system in the shower (without windows to open) didn’t work. Presumably it has been broken or out for years. We pointed this out multiple times - without success (health risk). No Wi-Fi; the restaurant does not accept card payments because supposedly the mobile internet is too poor. We had 5G with 3 bars. It sounds like excuses to save costs.

Very muddy, not really friendly staff, the price list extremely chaotic and very opaque... you don't feel like a guest, but more like a beggar. Extremely expensive and then the hot water showers cost extra, a total rip-off. The restaurant is also more expensive than very good restaurants, for example in Bernau. There the price is lower and the quality better. Way too many dogs!!! The price-quality ratio is not in any relation!

The spots are relatively small. The buildings and inventory are quite dated. The toilet facilities resemble battery cages due to their condition. The kiosk, when it's open and if there is staff available, is a joke. The restaurant offers good food but with poor inventory (worn furniture with sagging cushions). No Wi-Fi. With air conditioning and simultaneously using a compressor refrigerator, the fuse blows. However, a lot of money is charged for the electricity. Conclusion: it would be appropriate to invest well and not just to cash in nicely. Then the top location would be the icing on the cake!

Yes, it is a bit more expensive than elsewhere. However, the location is beautiful, it is quiet and clean, the sanitary facilities are very good. Family bathrooms are the norm and just showering costs 1 €. The restaurant cooks well, and at the kiosk you can find everything you need. Farmers and fishermen come to the square to sell their products - by the way, there’s no problem for dogs either. The swimming area is small but sufficient, and the lake at this spot is wonderfully clear. We saw 3 camping pitches at Chiemsee, and the one at Harras was definitely the best.

Everything is very cramped and very chaotic. Only at checkout is card payment possible. The price/performance ratio is not really okay.
