Well-located, well-maintained site with good infrastructure. The old town of Rab is within walking distance, and you can find everything you need at the site. The sea is clear and shallow - ideal for children. Unfortunately, the first row is right by the public beach, which is extremely crowded during the day. Early in the morning, loungers are reserved with towels, and there is a complete lack of privacy. Access to the sea is often blocked. Instead of a sea view, one looks at crowds of people. In the evening, there is a lot of foot traffic on the promenade, scooters and bikes sometimes pass recklessly. For those seeking peace, the first row is not recommended. The price-quality ratio does not work for us here.

We are already here for the second time, it is clear that there is a lot going on in such a situation, but during an evening stroll through Rab, visitors, like the merchants, are simply part of the atmosphere. The sanitation is clean 24 hours a day, making showering etc. enjoyable. This year we snagged a front row spot for 1 week. Dreamlike, jumping into the water and having an Aperol in front of the camper. I can only recommend it.

Great place, right by the sea, super well-maintained clean sanitary facilities! Nice path to the city center of RAB. Unfortunately, the price of €53 was already steep (off season) the restaurant was still closed!

Very nice campsite on the island of Rab right by the sea. The rather smaller campsite "Padova Premium Camping Resort" is located at a beautiful bay with a gently sloping sandy beach. However, the beach itself is very narrow and hardly usable. The water is not always as clear as one is used to in Croatia due to the sand. But there is a nicely designed pool area directly by the sea with an additional children's area and a nice lawn for sunbathing. Sun loungers and umbrellas are free for campers. The plaza in the middle of the site is really well designed, where you can find everything for shopping as well as evening entertainment. The lots are generally small to medium-sized, so the distance to the neighbors, especially in Zone A, can be a bit tighter. The sites by the pool in Zone D are somewhat more spacious, but they are not as quiet. I found the Wi-Fi on the site to be excellent (internet and TV were problem-free). The reception staff is very friendly and helpful in finding a spot. There are also no waiting times here, as one sometimes experiences in other Valamar campsites. TOP service! I did not find the sanitary building (in my case No. 3 Zone D) to be quite as great. It is clean but somewhat aging. What was really unacceptable were the broken showers. In most of them, you could not adjust the temperature and had to forcefully shower with very hot water, which is very unpleasant at over 30 degrees. At the campsite, I can highly recommend the restaurant "Morcic." Great food at moderate prices and very friendly service. The old town of Rab is about 2 km away, and there is a nice walking or cycling path directly along the waterfront promenade. Alternatively, you can also take the water taxi (3,-€ per person). The old town is very worth seeing, and there are numerous restaurants and bars. I find the price level of the camping resort to be bordering on high. Aside from some minor negatives, it is a nice place, especially for families, that meets the usual Valamar standard.

We spontaneously reserved on the drive from rainy Hungary to Croatia. There are relatively many bad reviews here, but our impression was positive. Yes, the pitches by the sea are small, but with small children, they are too dangerous anyway. We were allowed to choose a free pitch in Zone A (it was still not high season in early June) and found a nice one. An olive tree stood in the middle, providing us excellent shade. Camper plus rear tent on the left - table and chairs in the middle under the tree and still space for a bicycle trailer and play mat. Sanitary facilities were always clean; there was always someone with their cleaning supplies around and present. Children's club available, supervision from 3 years old. Very nicely furnished, with crafting opportunities, play kitchen, games, ball pit, and for older children, there are game consoles. There are two crib beds there so that the very little ones can sleep during the midday heat. An adult must, of course, be present during this time in the club. Every evening at 20:00 there is a children's disco. Here, the supervisors of the children's club are present again, and they already know some of the children, Occasionally live music on the premises. Pool area with baby pool and slides for children aged 2-6 years. Also pools with a depth of about 1.30 m. Aquasport daily. The beach was 200 meters from our pitch. Fine pebble beach. 5 minutes on foot to a small sandy beach. Restaurants nearby. The town of Rab can be reached by bicycle along the beach promenade in 15 minutes and is worth seeing.

The CP calls itself premium, but it cannot uphold that. The facility is not really nicely designed, as a more or less public road runs through it and there are several not particularly nice private houses on the premises. The facility could use a gardener and a coat of paint. The sanitary facilities are good and clean. The location right by the beach with a short walk to Rab Town is very good! Nevertheless, we do not recommend it.

We come here for the second time and like the place. The staff on site is always nice and friendly, and they try their best to mitigate the chaos caused by the head office. We had booked and paid in full 1 year in advance. Upon arrival, we were informed that the place was overbooked. We had booked Premium Mare, and we were first supposed to set up somewhere in a corner next to the washhouse or directly by the pool to see the next day where something becomes available. We were lucky that a spot in the Premium Mare area was free, but it was assigned to us only reluctantly and only with insistence. The place is very clean as always, our children love the many activities you can do here and the path to the boat is acceptable. The food in the restaurants on the campsite is good, the supermarket well-stocked, and the washhouses are always clean. All in all, one can only blame the campsite operators, namely Valamar, for the online reservation not working well; the staff on site manages many things well. The location is beautiful, you can reach many places on foot, or be in the beautiful old town in a few minutes by water taxi. Actually, we wanted to come back next year, but with the reservation chaos, we are reconsidering.

Last year we reserved a Comfort Mare spot, upon arrival we were told we could walk around and see if there was anything available; so we walked around the entire place in 31 degrees, only 2 spots free; either right next to the restaurant or in the front row to the sea a mini spot with a manhole cover and trash can on the spot, also next to the restaurant. The fact that these spots are even offered as premium spots is an absolute cheek! Luckily, we only booked 2 nights and we will probably go somewhere else tomorrow! Never again for us!

The comfortable Padova Premium Camping Resort is ideal for a holiday in the Croatian islands. Picturesquely surrounded by Mediterranean greenery, pines and olive trees, the resort is ideal for anyone who wants to combine beach and culture. The panoramic views of the sea and the islets in the Kvarner Bay are particularly spectacular. Numerous services and various sports and leisure activities ensure a pleasant stay.
The 6.5-hectare campsite is located on the Croatian island of Rab. Banjol, the most important town on the island, is only a few minutes away. The main attractions of the coastal town are the old town centre and the sheltered bathing bays. The fine sand and pebble beach stretches like paradise along the holiday home, which is particularly popular with families with children thanks to its shallow entrance into the water. There are various facilities around the beach, such as sun loungers for hire and pedal boat hire stations. If you are travelling with your pet, there is a dog beach just outside. The Padova Premium Camping Resort has 141 rental accommodations and 440 pitches, 228 of which are parcelled out. The pitches have a surface area of 80 to 120 square metres. They have their own electricity and water connection and some also have a waste water connection. New from 2024 is the Hilltop Green Village, which impresses with environmentally friendly camping homes and chalets designed to the highest energy efficiency standards. Modern sanitary facilities are grouped around the site, which also cater for people with limited mobility. Car parks, washing machines, a cash machine and free Wi-Fi internet access round off the facilities. The pool area and the separate water park for children are popular meeting points. A playground, supervised miniclub, entertainment programme and children's disco also ensure a great holiday. Of course, adults can also stay active on holiday, for example with aqua aerobics, table tennis or water skiing. A variety of restaurants, a bakery and a grocery shop cater for your physical well-being.
For those interested in culture, a trip to Rab, the island capital of the same name, is well worthwhile. The town, which is over 2,000 years old, can be easily reached by taxi boat and then explored on foot. The historic centre with its medieval buildings and wonderful views is particularly worth a visit. For nature-loving cyclists and hikers, tours to the lushly wooded Kalifront peninsula or to the summit of Kamenjak are recommended. At 408 metres, it is the highest mountain on Rab. The island landscape is perfect for long trips by sailing boat or excursion boat. Many other natural beauties, such as unspoilt bathing bays and bizarrely shaped rocky coasts, can only be discovered from the water. With the necessary equipment, the crystal-clear Adriatic offers a clear view of the sea creatures and their habitats.
