Sailors will also find a true paradise: They can take advantage of the perfect wind conditions for beach sailing or take a tour along the coast in dinghies or catamarans. Exciting excursion destinations around Suhrendorf

If you want to actively explore the beautiful nature of Rügen, use the bike hire service in the village and have your bike delivered directly to the campsite. This will take you through the surrounding fields or along the dyke route, which offers fantastic views of the island of Hiddensee. Families are drawn to the Rügenpark in Ginst, just 10 kilometres from the campsite. Numerous attractions such as a super slide, a petting zoo and the Nautic Jet water ride await adventurous guests. You can also marvel at miniature models of famous buildings such as Bamberg Cathedral or the Great Wall of China. A visit to the island of Hiddensee is also worthwhile, where beach walkers may be lucky enough to find rare amber.
