The campsite is located near the beautiful Guincho beach and only 7 km from the lovely town of Cascais. These are the essential highlights of this place. The sanitary facilities are quite old but are cleaned regularly. A large part of the pitches is located under pine trees and is not suitable for every motorhome. There are only a limited number of pitches for motorhomes larger than 7 m. The pitches are not always even. Rinsing and washing laundry is usually done with cold water. The supply and disposal of the motorhome is only possible centrally. Unfortunately, there are no decentralized water taps. The pool is nice. In total, the place is okay. Price with ACSI card 21 € for the motorhome and 2 people.

The sanitation facilities are run-down and dirty. The paths are in very poor condition! The value for money is simply not there. No good bread in the shop. Wi-Fi only at the reception. Wastewater disposal and fresh water supply are very poor.

To get straight to the point, we liked it and would book there again. However, booking is a topic that should perhaps be mentioned. When you make a reservation, prepayment is mandatory. When you receive a confirmation for the ordered parceled place after payment, you assume that you will receive a reserved spot. However, since you have "free choice of spots", the reservation ultimately means that you have to look for a free spot upon arrival. The site is large; however, most parking spaces are limited by dense and low trees and are only suitable for tents. Partially integrated or alcove campers then circle the site in the dark and search for a spot. So it is better to arrive there in daylight. From our perspective, reservation makes no sense. The (older, simple) bathrooms are cleaned twice daily and are therefore clean; the parking spots are also kept tidy and swept regularly, and the trash is removed regularly. In the nearby area, there are restaurants for every taste (our recommendation: "Mareia"). You can easily reach Cascais by bicycle. There is a bus stop at the entrance.

Apart from some questionable sanitary facilities (after 2 days soap dispensers still not refilled, cold shower for the men, lackluster cleanliness) a good place, great surroundings, friendly reception.

Clean CP, pleasantly shady under the pines (bring a hammock ;-)), but due to the tree cover, it is sometimes difficult to find the parcel and parking spot. I can imagine it being difficult during high season. We still liked it.

With its privileged location on the dream beaches of western Portugal and its proximity to Lisbon, Camping ORBITUR Guincho is ideal for a camping and city holiday. ### Campsite on the coast with large pool The pitches at Camping ORBITUR Guincho are spread over a sandy meadow in the shade of a sparse pine forest. Some holidaymakers have a direct view of the dunes from their pitch or rental accommodation. The sound of the nearby sea can be heard. The pool right on the campsite offers refreshment. The youngest holidaymakers love to have fun in the paddling pool or let off steam in the playground. The multi-functional sports field is a hive of activity in summer, with regular group activities. After a day at the beach or an excursion to Lisbon, holidaymakers can relax on the terrace with its lounge chairs ### Excursions on the Portuguese coast Camping ORBITUR Guincho is the perfect place to combine camping with a cultural excursion.
