In the winter months, when snow is guaranteed, a cross-country ski trail runs right next to the campsite, which is open all year round and leads via the Austrian cross-country skiing Mecca of Seefeld to the mountain village of Mösern. In the summer months, the high valley invites you to go mountaineering, hiking and mountain biking through unspoilt nature. Bike hire is available at the campsite. The campsite's own indoor pool with children's pool and a wellness area including sauna and steam bath is a pleasure at any time of year.

What we wanted to do in winter was very good. Cross-country skiing, then to the swimming pool and the sauna.

We were there for 3 nights. The staff was friendly. The place was not leveled, it could be better. For 50,- euros per night, including electricity, clean showers, toilet, swimming pool, sauna, and guest card for buses. Good hiking trails and ski tracks.

Nice campsite in a great location right next to the cross-country skiing trail. Entrance to the nearby Alpine spa with wellness in Leutasch was included in the site price; the campsite's own swimming pool, sauna area, and restaurant (as of February 2024) were closed. In the middle of nature, no shopping options (except for rolls) at the site. The staff are all very friendly, but the site lacks soul. You somehow feel "lost" there. I was there 30 years ago with my parents, and back then the "Holiday-Camping Leutasch" was a top spot in Europe, received numerous awards, and the then-operating family "Haslwanter" was very warm-hearted. The multiple changes of operators have harmed the site a bit each time. Nevertheless, the site is still a good address for cross-country skiers, who can practically start on the ski trail from the caravan.
