Beautifully located campsite in the middle of the Thuringian Forest, clean sanitary facilities, and nice staff 😁 the prices. Well.

Beautiful quiet campsite located in nature directly by the lake, but unfortunately overpriced for its facilities. We only stayed one night while passing through. Sanitary facilities are a normal basic setup, without any comfort. Due to the heavy rain, no path was passable without rubber boots, as there was no surfacing of the paths throughout the campsite. The restaurant was not accessible without wet feet.

Beautiful location right by the lake, friendly operators, very nice welcome and good pitch instructions. Very clean sanitary facilities and showers. Absolutely quiet at night, very dog-friendly. Dogs are allowed to swim in the lake. Very good hiking opportunities and fair prices. Unfortunately, we were only there for four days, but we would love to come back.

We're already here for the second time this year with our dogs 🐕. Unfortunately, the first time in early August it rained the whole time; the campsite is not to blame for that. But unfortunately, our camper was standing in such water 💦 that it can't drain properly! A drainage system wouldn't be bad! Unfortunately, there's no dining service due to staff shortages. Over the weekend someone definitely offered something. I think they are amateurs doing it, it was terrible, I couldn't eat it! The prices for the camping are okay, we're coming back in October, we are just passing through! We also booked a rental house, very clean, but it could be a bit warmer.

We were there with friends in March 2023 for an extended weekend and were pretty much the only guests. The location of the site is very nice, right in the woods and by the reservoir. However, the reservoir does not have water at this time of year. The sanitary facilities were not great, cold and uninviting. The men's shower rooms served as a storage for construction materials. The electricity billing is not comprehensible, as you do not receive any meter readings. We were supposed to pay 120 euros for electricity for our pitch for 3 nights, which cannot be correct. In the end, the operator insisted on 75 euros. As I said, regarding this, there is no way to verify or get an overview. Another downside - no shopping options and no gastronomy at the site. We will definitely not stop there again.

Actually quite good except that you can't get pegs into the ground as it's full of stones etc. The location is great and it's quiet at night. The rental bathrooms are also very clean and well-equipped. There is a deduction in terms of prices, however, I still give a full score of stars.

We were here in July with our 3 dogs. Great for walking in the forests around the lake and swimming in the really beautiful lake. Clean sanitary facilities, friendly staff. We will come back sometime.😃
