Very friendly and helpful reception. In early May, the only food supply was a baker who came to the square around 8:30 AM. Very basic, but clean and functional sanitary facilities, warm showers at no extra charge. The showers are not enclosed, which is not a problem at pleasant outside temperatures; however, it gets cold when showering in winter. For men, there is a room in the front sanitary block with a sink and 2 small shower stalls, only separated by curtains... takes some getting used to.

The operators are really very nice and organize what is possible. The facilities are simple but well-maintained. However, the space for wheelchair users is completely unsuitable. Gravel paths make it difficult to navigate, and the "sanitary cabin for wheelchair users" is theoretically accessible via a ramp, but practically useless, as the toilet and sink are cramped between washing machines. Even without a wheelchair, using it would be difficult.

We were with the caravan at the site which is mainly used by Italian motorhomes. Very basic site, electricity and water available at the site. Simple but clean sanitary facilities, attentive team, and good location for exploring the southwestern part of the island. Across the street is a pizzeria where you can eat very well and cheaply. For swimming, we went to the nearby nature reserve, where we really enjoyed Calamosche Bay. If you like simple camping sites, you are in the right place.
